Well, at least Lush went out on a relatively high note; can't really say the same for Weezer. Rivers insists on dragging their legacy through the mud with each passing album. Even though Rivers would probably never own up to it, Matt Sharp was a large part of the classic Weezer sound. So yeah, Lush would definitely be opening for Weezer, but if they gave it time, they'd be a tough act to follow.

What brings you to South Florida? Not really, not so much regarding good venues. I used to be an agent the music business from 1997-2003, and I actually booked the swirlies tours in 98-99. I never brought any acts that I represented to South Florida. I mean I also represented some not good bands/actors thin lizzy, corey feldman etc. Just thought I bring that up for a laugh.

I live in South and Central Florida, so not many creditable shows around these parts, at least not since the early 90's. Let's Active was Mitch Easters project who produced the first three REM records in the early 80's. You should get into them, that is major points :D

I think I have a few Flin Flon tracks on a old teenbeat sampler I need to upload. I could send them to you if you want them. Really impressed that you know Let's Active, they are probably one of my favorite bands! :)
