they wre good. The venue they played in isn't the best. It's pretty much concrete shell so the sound could've been better. It was really bass heavy and the guitar struggled to cut through it at times which was a shame.

P.S. even a little rap, and quite a bit of hip-hop based electronic stuff.

Hey there, buddy-pal! Sorry I took so long to reply, I haven't been living my internet life to my liking, as of late, I've been too busy with real life. </3 Anyways, lately I've been mostly into... weird stuff. Stuff that's outside of rock music, for the most part. I've been exploring various avant-garde sounds. I've been listening to a lot of jazz (modern and otherwise. free-jazz, stuff that can only be described as avant-garde, and 'jazzcore'. Jazzcore is my SHIT!), the Canterbury scene, krautrock, weird IDM stuff, a lot of classical minimalism, shoegaze, and even some blues stuff. On the metal side, I've been really into Animosity, Kayo Dot, Gorguts, The Red Chord, Ufomammut, Giant Squid, Terra Tenebrosa, Rwake, Iron Monkey, and Intronaut. There's a lot of other sounds I've been exploring, but there's only so many characters I can include in a shout... Hope all has been well with you.

sorry this took 5ever to respond. thanx!! and check out dangers! they're really unique hardcore with incredible lyrics. if you haven't listen to nails - unsilent death, make sure to do that too. wavves was fine in concert, im not into moshing for pop punk, but there was plenty of that. they performed good, i wish nathan would have spoken more between songs. idk why but yeah. also he only played like 2 good songs off the new album. KOTB songs r great live. he only played like one song from his lo-fi shit, no hope kids. modest mouse didn't play any old shit at all, don't expect them to if you plan to see them live haha. and st. vincent is fucking great, her best album is "strange mercy". it's like some sort of electro-jazz-wave-rock. and then her album "actor" is excellent too, it's like baroque pop-musical-indie-rock kinda sound haha. her album marry me is pretty poppy, it's pretty good.

Can is a magical dream built upon the fragile waters of anarchy. Listen to Future Days and relive your infancy. SaU has dissolved but since then I have started working on two other ideas, Bending which is just me fiddling with guitar pedals(i have an album out: http://www.mediafire.com/?m3js0s6xjd3y2l9), and Snowtown which is a fully-fledged band with two of my friends. The latter is much more accessible than the gurgled dregs of SaU though, we have a song right now on youtube if you're interested. As far as abstract stuff I've been into recently, I guess you could think about Nurse With Wound or maybe you'd like some of the post-punk I've been getting into recently, like Rat At Rat R.

Hey, sorry for the late reply - I don't really look at my shoutbox that often. I was recovering from a concussion at the time and spent most of the show trying to look away from the lights, didn't go into the crowd. Was one of the best shows I've been to, a very rabid crowd with a rare intensity that you'd usually only find at a big ticket metal or hardcore show here. The crowd was interesting, a large portion of it were over 30. They started about two and a half hours later than billed, we got lucky and didn't wait around at the venue as Ethan Kath was sitting next to us where we were getting dinner and we managed to eavesdrop that they were going to be a while. Couldn't see too much of what was on stage, Alice crowd surfed and was pretty wild in general, it was interesting to hear some of the old tracks played on analog instead of digital which was a lot harsher (in a good way) for the most part - the newer tracks seemed a bit limited compared to the studio version though.
