A lot of problems with LastFM for iPhone 2.0
Lots bugs, problems. Have you a solution ? -

Care to elaborate on those bugs / problems? You can't fix what you don't know about!

Hi, sorry if you get this questions over and over, but do you have an FAQ regarding MobileScrobbler for jailbroken iPhones? And if not, do you plan releasing it for iPhone OS 2.0? Last.fm app is awesome, but background scrobbling was even better.

Also, it doesn't seem to be available in "my" iTunes AppStore - the Norwegian version.

1.0.1 seems to crash very often, especially when a new song is being loaded (when a song has played for a good twenty seconds, it mostly finishes). I have not been able to listen to more than two songs in a row. Waiting for the iPhone to sleep by itself has marginally better performance than putting it to sleep myself.
But when it works, it works fine, also on 3G, and on WiFi it sometimes even caught up the lost connection/song after I entered my WiFi territory again. This is a dream come true, but for now sometimes a frustrating one.
(b.t.w. I have fetch running to check my mail). -

I've been using the app for just over 2 weeks now and I use it EVERY day while at work and then I connect the iphone upto the Sterio when I get home. Here are some suggestions for the next app update that I'd love to see:
1. To be able to use other apps while the music is playing.
2. For the music to continue playing after you have finished with a phone call. (I guess to make it more like the ipod functionality)
Thanks for a great (and by far my favourite) app on the iPhone!! -

We will be releasing an update soon to address the stability problems.
@paulbaverey: Apple does not currently allow us (or any other 3rd party applications) to do either of those. -

We need to be able to play song's from the iphone ipod and run last.fm app and read the lyrics or see the artist bio or some cool info, I dont know, but something around there just as you have now but for the songs we are play from the iphone. The apps work ok but it need more tune-up.

Any ideas on how the next update will be released? Right now the app is really useless for most of the users (read the comments on the german and us app store) because of it's instability.

Between this being unstable and not being able to scrobe what's the point of this app?

please add this great app to the swiss iTunes store.
Thanks -

It's really, really, really unstable. It rarely even begins to play the first song, before it crashes. And whenever I want to play one of my tags, which has more than 500 songs in it, it tells me that "there's not enough content". Which is false. But tags with fewer songs in it, get played.
Also: What about our playlists? -

The_Sarge escreveu:
To clarify: I'm a subscriber, I've got the recent version, and I don't see the option to play a playlist.
-

c99koder escreveu:
@The_Sarge: Try logging out of the application and logging back in so it can re-check your subscriber status. Also, please let me know which tags are not currently playing (note: the iPhone client will play global tag radio, not personal tag radio. we're working on personal tag radio for a future update).
Thanks for the feedback! -

The_Sarge escreveu:
Ah, okay. It was a personal tag. My "Loved Tracks" tag (I started it, to have a handy reference of the songs I'd "loved"). [http://www.last.fm/user/The_Sarge/library/tags?tag=loved+tracks&view=cloud]
I just logged out and logged in again, but still no playlist. I get "Start a new station" - "My Library" - "Loved Tracks Radio" - "Neighbour Radio" - "Recommended Radio" - "Recent Stations" - "Charts" - "Events" - Tags" and "Friends".
Thanks for looking into it. :) -

Hi guys, I upgraded my iPhone to firmware 2. I've been using mobile scrobbler before, and now, since I'm living in Italy, iTunes Music Store doesn't allow me to download last.fm for my iPhone! Any other possibilities to get it?
Thanks -

The_Sarge escreveu:
Whoa. That last update to 1.0.3. did it. Still can't play my "loved ones" tag, but the rest works. Great job! :)

The_Sarge escreveu:
I meant 1.0.2 - Sorry. Mindgap.

Bug: If I tune in to my "Loved Tracks" on iPod Touch last.fm app for a while, then stop and log out -- my last.fm web profile will still claim that I am listening to Loved Tracks in "Recently Played."
