About this playing full albums/shuffling tracks thing... I do like to do a bit of both, and I get your point of view of course. However, I like the element of surprise that you get when you play tracks on random. I've got thousands of songs on my phone, and you never know what's coming up next. Sometimes I get to hear tracks that I haven't heard for a long time or wouldn't normally listen to. Obviously I do skip tracks pretty often, but I also like to pick my own songs/albums occasionally. I don't see most albums out there as some kind of coherent entities that you MUST listen to as a whole (there are exceptions though), so I don't feel like I'm missing anything either. When I'm in the full album mood I like to play my vinyls or CDs, that's just about the only good excuse to stick with the physical formats in 2015.

I think I like that Mac McDude album more than Superchunk.

I went through an "album phase" some time ago when I listened to whole albums a lot, but lately I've been listening to music mostly on my phone, and I normally just play tracks on random on it. I know that you're the album type of guy and I kinda admire you for that, I suppose that's the way how music is supposed to be listened to. It's quite interesting how different our listening habits are.

Hey Chris. See you stopped by. Like Bull Frogs, try the David Bromberg Band's "Bullfrog Blues" from the album 'How Late Ya Play Till'. Actually just David & guitar entertaining the audience while the band took a break. Have a great & safe week. Ray https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SgYQN5MRTU

Nah, I don't think I'm gonna get "The Holy Bible" reissue, not unless it hits the bargain bin some time in the future. It's a very good album of course and a classic, but it's not even my favourite by the Manics - give me "Gold Against The Soul" any day! :) 'She Is Suffering' is such an awesome song though that buying the reissue might be worth it for that alone.

Yeah, I had a Manics day yesterday with some Silver Sun and a few random tracks thrown in.

Try Rdio.com for unlimited albums and songs. Desktop free for first six months, no credit card number up front. Founded by Janus Friis (Skype) I think it is much better then Spotify and no problem scrobbling.

Huh. My scrobbles are OK... But you definitely have more than ~4700 songs scrobbled!
