    We are still SUPER compatible from where I'm standing buddy, and I plan to cement this further by getting that album. Hope you're still good for Saturday? My move has been brought forward slightly, it is now 7th August (a week on Friday) that I officially shout 'BOLLOCKS TO YOU ALL!" and flee Britain. Easyjet from Manchester to Malta Ste, free accommodation, lots of attractive people in skimpy beach clothes (including ME), pilgrimage to the home of Michael Mifsud, you really have no excuse not to be a regular visitor.

    UPDATE:- The new Sunset Rubdown album IS amazing. You really have to go and see them in the Deaf Institute, it'll be whizzo. You'll love it; go on, you go and enjoy yourself, even in the knowledge I'm 1500 miles away crying into my home-made Okkervil River pillowcase.

    Yo dudio, what were the HotS spin-offers like? Yeah unfortunately my imminent move to foreign shores will stop me going to Okkervil (heartbreak), and Fever Ray, and Sunset Rubdown, and effectively I'm never watching good live music ever again. You just watch though, I bet in the next few years all the cool kids will be gigging in Malta and you'll be really jealous. The new Sunset Rubdown is meant to be amazing by the way. Leaving parties will be announced soon, was planning on a Malta theme but that basically leaves people going as either a big falcon or Tony Drago so may expand on the idea, will let you know.

    That's just SUPER! Based on said Superness Stevo, please listen to History at our Disposal. I was briefly obsessed with 'em years ago, and then forgot about them until I just re-read an old email I got off them. They are A mazing. They really should have got an ATP vote off me, and would have if I thought anyone else had ever heard of them.
