Hey there. I am shocked it took me this long to notice a new shout on my profile, so apologies for the late reply. I have a long reading list ahead of me and as soon as I'm done with a few Kabbalah books which are essential I'm moving on towards Numerology books and will finally sit through the Sepher Yetzirah. Sadly, I've been busy to read recently but that will change asap. The books you mentioned in your previous shout are noted and I'll be sure to check them out sometime, thanks a lot.

Just gave your reading list a scan and I'm more than impressed. Amazing books, and tons of ones on Jewish mysticism which I plan to read, such as Book of Bahir and Book of Zohar. I'm still slightly new into this, for my reading list in this field of esoteric studies is low. What is the book you recommended and do you know of any sources to acquire such books other than wishing they'd be available as .pdf on a torrent site or whatever?

"Courteous Reader, Astrology is one of the most ancient Sciences, held in high esteem of old, by the Wise and the Great. Formerly, no Prince would make War or Peace, nor any General fight in Battle, in short, no important affair was undertaken without first consulting an Astrologer." -Benjamin Franklin

"It's common knowledge that a large percentage of Wall Street brokers use astrology." -Donald Regan

"Astrology is a science in itself and contains an illuminating body of knowledge. It taught me many things, and I am greatly indebted to it. Geophysical evidence reveals the power of the stars and the planets in relation to the terrestrial. In turn, astrology reinforces this power to some extent. This is why astrology is like a life-giving elixir to mankind." -Albert Einstein

"Millionaires don't use astrology, billionaires use astrology." -J.P. Morgan

The neurotoxin chemical "Fluoride" is in our water supply, toothpaste, and food.
It lowers peoples iQ's and targets the pineal gland in the brain, where it then calcifies it.
This is same gland that regulates melatonin and Dimethyltryptamine.
Water fluoridation is unconstitutional, because no pharmaceutical drugs need to be put
in the water supply. There are natural agents to fight cavities and gingivitis.

"People can have many different kinds of pleasure. The real one is that for which they will forsake the others."

"Of the song, the order of the sixth race close"

"The exception is the sounding of some of what you call your Hebrew and some of what you call you Sanskrit vowels. These sound vibration complexes have power before time and space and represent configurations of light which built all that there is." -Ra

"I shall pass through this world but once. Any good that I can do or any kindness I can show to another human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer-nor-neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again. " Phillip Brooks 1835-1893

"The cosmos is a vast living body, of which we are still parts. The sun is a great heart whose tremors run through our smallest veins. The moon is a great nerve-center from which we quiver forever. Who knows the power that Saturn has over us, or Venus? But it is a vital power, rippling exquisitely through us all the time." -D. H. Lawrence

"A touchstone to determine the actual worth of an "intellectual", find out how he feels about astrology." - Robert Heinlein

"The gods of Kether are terrible gods which eat their children, for Kether, although the parent of all, reabsorbs the universe back into itself at the end of an epoch of evolution." -Dion Fortune

"The celestial bodies are the cause of all that takes place in the sub lunar world." -Thomas Aquinas

"Astrology is assured of recognition from psychology, without further restrictions, because astrology represents the summation of all the psychological knowledge of antiquity." -C. G. Jung

"'In relationship to the densities, the sun body may physically, as you would say, be seen to be a large body of gaseous elements undergoing the processes of fusion and radiating heat and light. Metaphysically, the sun achieves a meaning to fourth through seventh density according to the growing abilities of entities in these densities to grasp the living creation and coentity, or other-self, nature of this sun body. Thus by the sixth density the sun may be visited and inhabited by those dwelling in time/ space and may even be partially created from moment to moment by the processes of sixth density entities in their evolution. [...] In this density some entities whose means of reproduction is fusion may choose to perform this portion of experience as part of the beingness of the sun body. Thus you may think of portions of the light that you receive as offspring of the generative expression of sixth-density love." -Ra

"And cherish deep within thy heart the memory of those who have served as a channel of light to thy perplexed soul, and be thou grateful to them." -From the Golden Precepts of Trismegistus.

"Men of broader intellect know that there is no sharp distinction betwixt the real and the unreal..." -H.P. Lovecraft

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents." -H.P. Lovecraft

"To knot a sentence up properly, it has to be thought out carefully, and revised. New phrases have to be put in; sudden changes of subject must be introducted; verbs must be shifted to unsuspected localities; short words must be excised with ruthless hand; archaisms must be sprinkled like sugar-plums upon the concoction; the fatal human tendency to say things straightforwardly must be detected and defeated by adroit reversals; and, if a glimmer of meaning yet remain under close scrutiny, it must be removed by replacing all the principal verbs by paraphrases in some dead language." -Aleister Crowley

"Love is the law, love under will." -Aleister Crowley

"It is necessary, in this world, to be made of harder stuff than one's environment." -Aleister Crowley

"Having to talk destroys the symphony of silence." -Aleister Crowley

"To get where you want to go you can't only do what you like." -Peter Abrahams

"The joy of life consists in the exercise of one's energies, continual growth, constant change, the enjoyment of every new experience. To stop means simply to die. The eternal mistake of mankind is to set up an attainable ideal." -Aleister Crowley

"Ordinary morality is only for ordinary people." -Aleister Crowley

"The people who have really made history are the martyrs." -Aleister Crowley

"Finding is losing something else. I think about, perhaps even mourn, what I lost to find this" -Richard Brautigan

"...my evenings are taken up very largely with astrology, I make horoscopic calculations in order to find a clue to the core of psychological truth." -Carl Jung

"Inevitably anyone with an independent mind must become 'one who resists or opposes authority or established conventions': a rebel. If enough people come to agree with, and follow, the Rebel, we now have a Devil. Until, of course, still more people agree. And then, finally, we have --- Greatness." -Aleister Crowley

"The essence of independence has been to think and act according to standards from within, not without." -Aleister Crowley

"As the true object of education is not to render the pupil the mere copy of his preceptor, it is rather to be rejoiced in, than lamented, that various reading should lead him into new trains of thinking." -William Godwin

“For I am I: ergo, the truth of myself; my own sphinx, conflict, chaos, vortex—asymmetric to all rhythms, oblique to all paths. I am the prism between black and white: mine own unison in duality.” -Austin Osman Spare

“Art can contradict Science.” -Austin Osman Spare

"High and mighty king, your grace, and these your nobles here present, may be pleased benignly to bow your ears, to hear the tragedy of a young man, that by right ought to hold in his hand the ball of a kingdom; but by fortune is made himself a ball, tosse..." -Austin Osman Spare

"Since all things are God, in all things thou seest just so much of God as thy capacity affordeth thee." -Aleister Crowley

"People think that talking is a sign of thinking. It isn't, for the most part' on the contrary, it's a mechanical dodge of the body to relieve oneself of the strain of thinking, just as exercising the muscles helps the body to become temporarily unconscious of its weight, its pain, its weariness, and the foreknowledge of its doom." -Aleister Crowley

"30. If Will stops and cries Why, invoking Because, then Will stops an does naught.
31. If power asks why, then power is weakness." -Aleister Crowley

"First of all, you must never speak of anything by its name -- in that country. So, if you see a tree on a mountain, it will be better to say 'Look at the green on the high'; for that's how they talk -- in that country. And whatever you do, you must find a false reason for doing it -- in that country. If you rob a man, you must say it is to help and protect him: that's the ethics -- of that country. And everything of value has no value at all -- in that country. You must be perfectly commonplace if you want to be a genius -- in that country. And everything you like you must pretend not to like; and anything that is there you must pretend is not there -- in that country. And you must always say that you are sacrificing yourself in the cause of religion, and morality, and humanity, and liberty, and progress, when you want to cheat your neighbour -- in that country." -Aleister Crowley

"I do not conceive of any reality at all as without genuine unity." -Gottfried Leibniz

"Music is the pleasure the human mind experiences from counting without being aware that it is counting" -Gottfried Leibniz

"A woman one loves rarely suffices for all our needs, so we deceive her with another whom we do not love. " -Marcel Proust

"Every reader finds himself. The writer's work is merely a kind of optical instrument that makes it possible for the reader to discern what, without this book, he would perhaps never have seen in himself. " -Marcel Proust

"Happiness is beneficial for the body, but it is grief that develops the powers of the mind." -Marcel Proust

"Illness is the doctor to whom we pay most heed; to kindness, to knowledge, we make promise only; pain we obey." -Marcel Proust

"In a separation it is the one who is not really in love who says the more tender things. " -Marcel Proust

“Poetry is the impish attempt to paint the color of the wind.” -Maxwell Bodenheim

"He says, you have to study and learn so that you can make up your own mind about history and everything else but you can’t make up an empty mind. Stock your mind, stock your mind. You might be poor, your shoes might be broken, but your mind is a palace." Angelas Ashes

"All empty souls tend toward extreme opinions." -William Yeats

“Ah, I see. You don't know much about us and the unknown equals the barbaric, the primitive. Although it is you lot who are ignorant." --Andrew Ashling

"The Magic of the ancient priests consisted in those days," thought Madame Blavatsky, "in addressing their gods in their own language.... It is composed of sounds, not words; of sounds, numbers and figures. He who knows how to blend the three, will call forth the response of the superintending Power. Thus this language is that of incantations or of Mantras as they are called in India, sound being the most potent and effectual magic agent, and the first of the keys which opens the door of communication between Mortals and Immortals." -Israel Regardie

"The speculations of these philosophers upon matter were open to public criticism: but their teachings in regard to spiritual things were profoundly esoteric. Being thus sworn to secrecy and religious silence upon abstruse subjects involving the relations of spirit and matter, they rivalled each other in their ingenious methods for concealing their real opinions."- Blavatsky

"The harmony and mathematical equiformity of the double evolution -- spiritual and physical -- are elucidated only in the universal numerals of Pythagoras, who built his system entirely upon the so-called "metrical speech" of the Hindu Vedas."- Blavatsky

"But notwithstanding that the world of matter is boundless for us, it still is finite; and thus materialism will turn forever in this vitiated circle, unable to soar higher than the circumference will permit. The cosmological theory of numerals which Pythagoras learned from the Egyptian hierophants, is alone able to reconcile the two units, matter and spirit, and cause each to demonstrate the other mathematically."

"The arcana ("magical secrets") are archetypal influences that transcend space and time. According to the ancient text Archidoxies, the arcana are pre-existing powers that "have the power of transmuting, altering, and restoring us." In this view, the arcana are the secret workings of the mind of God, the  logos of the Greeks or what the alchemists referred to as the thoughts of the One Mind. In the Tarot, the arcana are represented by symbolic drawings that the reader tries to work with through meditation. In the Cabala, the arcana are represented by the esoteric properties of the letters of the Hebrew alphabet, energies that the cabalist tries to work with in the Tree of Life. In the in the ancient Chinese system of divination, the I Ching, the arcana are represented by the sixty-four trigrams, each with its own properties and influences. The alchemists believed the arcana were expressed on all levels of reality -- from chemical compounds to our innermost moods and desires." -Blavatsky

"The Druids of Great Britain practised it in the silent crypts of their deep caves; and Pliny devotes many a chapter to the "wisdom"** of the leaders of the Celts. The Semothees, -- the Druids of the Gauls, expounded the physical as well as the spiritual sciences. They taught the secrets of the universe, the harmonious progress of the heavenly bodies, the formation of the earth, and above all -- the immortality of the soul.*** Into their sacred groves -- natural academies built by the hand of the Invisible Architect -- the initiates assembled at the still hour of midnight to learn about what man once was and what he will be.**** They needed no artificial illumination, nor life-drawing gas, to light up their temples, for the chaste goddess of night beamed her most silvery rays on their oak-crowned heads; and their white-robed sacred bards knew how to converse with the solitary queen of the starry vault."

"The devachanic body will be just as a state of sleep, where the soul first learns to cast off the instincts that are connected with the body."

"Accursed who brings to light of day the writings I have cast away." -Willaim Yeats

"Designs in connection with postage stamps and coinage may be described, I think, as the silent ambassadors on national taste. " -Willaim Yeats

"Do not wait to strike till the iron is hot; but make it hot by striking" -William Yeats

"I discourage a cult of personality. " -Newt Gingrich

"The changing of bodies into light and light into bodies, is very comfortable
to the course of nature, which seems delighted with transmutations." -Isaac Newton

"The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift." - Einstein

"Language shapes the way we think, and determines what we can think about."
-Benjamin Lee Whorf (Hebrew Linguist, 1897-1941)

"Reading the Bible in translation is like kissing your new bride through a veil."
-Haim Nachman Bialik (Jewish Poet, 1873-1934)

“Genius is the recovery of childhood at will.” -Arthur Rimbaud

“The eye you see is not an eye because you see it; it is an eye because it sees you” -Antonio Machado

"It is the spectator, and not life, that art really mirrors." -Anon

"It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." -Aristotle

"Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of man as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.” – Helen Keller

"If a man devotes himself to art, much evil is avoided that happens otherwise if one is idle. " -Albrecht Durer

"The pentagram expresses, according to Levi, "the mind's domination over the elements, and it is by this sign that we bind them.... It is the symbol of the Word made flesh and, according to the direction of its rays, it represents good or evil, order or disorder.... A sign which epitomizes by signification all the occult forms of Nature and which has always manifested to elementary and other spirits a power superior to their own, naturally strikes them with fear and respect, and enforces their obedience by the empire of knowledge and will over ignorance and weakness." To understand the meaning of the geometrical form of the Pentagram, and to realize why in it is the power to banish all inferior forces from a given sphere, and why it is the "Word made flesh" a hasty recapitulation of aspects of the Qabalah is called for. One of the divine names by which the Jews conceived the universal creative force was YHVH, which, denominated the Tetragrammaton, came to be considered as the equivalent of the Four Elements in the Cosmos. It was also conceived to represent the ordinary unenlightened man in whom the light of spirit had not yet made its appearance; the unregenerate being of earth, air, fire and water, given up to the things of the unredeemed self. By means of Magic it was considered that into these four elements on which the flesh is based, the Holy Spirit amidst fire and glory and flame descended. In Hebrew the element Spirit is typified by the letter Shin, with its three darting prongs of spiritual fire united under the form of one principle. Bursting asunder the fleshly being, and carrying with it the germs of enlightenment and inspiration and revelation, the Holy Spirit forms by its presence in the heart a new species of being, the Adept or Master YHSHVH. This word, in Hebrew, is the name of Jesus, the symbol of the God-Man, a new type-species of spiritual being, greater than Whom there is nothing in all the heavens and planes of nature. Because of this fact, the ideology summarized in the sign of the Pentagram, the symbol of the four elements surmounted by the crowning and conquering flame of the Holy Ghost, it owes its incomparable efficiency and power to subdue all astral opposition and cast out gross substance from the being of the Magus." -Israel Regardie

"Word and picture are correlatives which are continually in quest of each other, as is sufficiently evident in the case of metaphors and similes. So from all time what was said or sung inwardly to the ear had to be presented equally to the eye. And so in childish days we see word and picture in continual balance; in the book of the law and in the way of salvation, in the Bible and in the spelling-book. When something was spoken which could not be pictured, and something pictured which could not be spoken, all went well; but mistakes were often made, and a word was used instead of a picture; and thence arose those monsters of symbolical mysticism, which are doubly an evil." -Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens could change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." -Margaret Mead

"The great enemy of clear language is insincerity. When there is a gap between one’s real and one’s declared aims, one turns, as it were, instinctively to long words and exhausted idioms, like a cuttlefish squirting out ink." -Orwell

"All knowledge which ends in words will die as quickly as it came to life." -Leonardo Da Vinci

"Behind the veil of all the hieratic and mystical allegories of ancient doctrines, behind the darkness and strange ordeals of all initiations, under the seal of all sacred writings, in the ruins of Nineveh or Thebes, on the crumbling stones of old temples and on the blackened visage of the Assyrian or Egyptian sphinx, in the monstrous or marvelous paintings which interpret to the faithful of India the inspired pages of the Vedas, in the cryptic emblems of our old books on alchemy, in the ceremonies practised at reception by all secret societies, there are found indications of a doctrine which is everywhere the same and everywhere carefully concealed." -Eliphas Levi

"In a cult intervention, information is presented about the group that the member is most often not aware of." -Rick Ross

"A family with the wrong members in control; that, perhaps, is as near as one can come to describing England in a phrase." -Orwell

"Half of tradition is a lie." -Stephen Crane

"During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act. " -Orwell

"It is not my intention to doubt that the doctrine of the Illuminati and the principles of Jacobinism had not spread in the United States. On the contrary, no one is more satisfied of this fact than I am." -George Harrison

‘Alas!’ he writes, ‘I am morbid,
And have put a purple colour about my brow.
All men seem eating and drinking the
“Joy of the Round Feast,” while I am
Melancholy and silent, as though in a
Gloomy wood, astray.
Strange images of myself did I create,
As I gazed into the seeming pit of others,
Losing myself in the thoughtfulness
Of my unreal self, as humanity saw me.
But alas ! on entering to the consciousness
Of my real being to find fostering
-The all-prevailing woman,”
And I strayed with her, into the path direct.

"The Kabbalah was first taught by God himself to a select company of angels, who formed a theosophic school in Paradise. After the Fall the angels most graciously communicated this heavenly doctrine to the disobedient child of earth, to furnish the protoplasts with the means of returning to their pristine nobility and felicity. From Adam it passed over to Noah, and then to Abraham, the friend of God, who emigrated with it to Egypt, where the patriarch allowed a portion of this mysterious doctrine to ooze out. It was in this way that the Egyptians obtained some knowledge of it, and the other Eastern nations could introduce it into their philosophical systems. Moses, who was learned in all the wisdom of Egypt, was first initiated into the Qabalah in the land of his birth, but became most proficient in it during his wanderings in the wilderness, when he not only devoted to it the leisure hours of the whole forty years, but received lessons in it from one of the angels. By the aid of this mysterious science the law−giver was enabled to solve the difficulties which arose during his management of the Israelites, in spite of the pilgrimages, wars, and frequent miseries of the nation. He covertly laid down the principles of this secret doctrine in the first four books of the Pentateuch, but withheld them from Deuteronomy. Moses also initiated the seventy elders into the secrets of this doctrine, and they again transmitted them from hand to hand. Of all who formed the unbroken line of tradition, David and Solomon were the most deeply initiated into the Kabbalah. No one, however, dared to write it down, till Schimeon Ben Jochai, who lived at the time of the destruction of the second temple . . . . . After his death, his son, Rabbi Eleazar, and his secretary, Rabbi Abba, as well as his disciples, collated Rabbi Simon Ben Jochai's treatises, and out of these composed the celebrated work called ZHR, Zohar, splendour, which is the grand storehouse of Kabbalism."

"A travelling atom, having passed through all the phases of Cosmic evolution up to that of which its production is the crown and completion, makes a final journey to the Central Stillness. Then, by the overbalancing of the equipoise, it issues forth, but with this difference, it has itself become, owing to its development, a centre of attraction. Thereby it draws to itself a certain number of atoms of each plane through which it passes until it arrives at the Cosmic belt which is decreed as its habitation by its own specific gravity in relation to the centrifugal forces of the Cosmic whirlings. There will be then, in this new organisation thus formed, a central nucleus of the travelling atom. This central nucleus will have implicit in it, the modes of reaction to which it became habituated during its experience of the phases of Cosmic evolution. In order to achieve the absence of sensation to which the presence and the continuance of habituated reactions in their accustomed ordered sequence alone can give rise, this nuclear atom continues to make its accustomed reactions owing to the momentum of its particles. These actions upon its part induce the corresponding reactions of the loose aggregations of matter from each Cosmic plane that are gathered about it. Thus is built up a miniature Cosmos. As may be perceived by a little thought, this Cosmos, with the nuclear atom corresponding to the Central Stillness, which, in the larger Cosmos transmuted all reactions, in this, the reflected Cosmos, performs the same function. At the same time the entire organism is subject to the phases of the Cosmic Forces. Its synthetic aspect receiving an impulse during the phases of the Cosmic Day, so called, or those segments of the circle in which the positive or stimulative forces are predominant; and its analytical forces receiving a stimulus when passing through those segments of the circle in which the negative forces predominate. Likewise, as it passes, through the sphere of influence of each Ray, will the corresponding forces of its own nature receive an additional stimulus. You may conceive, then, this great organism travelling round a circle which is divided into four quarters - positive and negative alternately - and in addition to this each quarter is subdivided into the spheres of influence of three Rays. You have now the key to the so-called Days and Nights of Brahma, and to the periods of evolution; but, as this great organism we are now considering is itself a miniature Cosmos, you will perceive that a more speedy cycle will be performed within its own nature. In addition to these influences there is another set of influences to be considered. These influences being the gravitational attractions of other great organisms upon other planes of the Cosmos. The relations between one great organism and others upon its own plane are fixed and determined before evolution commences, and, being constant, need not be considered. But the revolutions of Great Entities upon other planes of the Cosmos are conducted at different paces and without relation to those Entities of other planes than their own. Therefore they will pass in line with each other periodically, momentarily blocking the pull of the central attraction upon those organisms further out than themselves, and also exerting a gravitational attraction upon all particles of their own plane and planes above their own, in the mass of a great organism on an outer path. This cutting off temporarily of the central attraction upsets the equilibrium of the outer organism, removing the centripetal check upon the centrifugal force, but the tendency of certain types of molecules to fly inwards towards the attracting body tends to counterbalance this. Also the whole will of the nuclear atom of that organism is to maintain constant the habitual conditions which have become the law of its nature. The habituated conditions it may be said, in parenthesis, are those sequences which man discovers and christens `Natural Laws’. Likewise the forces of the Cosmos tend to maintain equilibrium compensating each other, but there occurs, nevertheless, at irregular intervals, conditions which require compensation, and these give rise to varying degrees of irregularity in the movement of Great Entities, and hence to the presence of positive evil, sin and disease within their spheres. The Cosmos itself has to strive to attain adjustment at the commencement of each phase of its evolution, and the irregularities which occur before adjustment is effected, and which have to be pulled straight in the course of evolution, are the origin of this evil, in the sense in which the word is used popularly. Cosmic evil is a limitation, an opposition, and is the prime condition of manifestation. This Cosmic evil, the Divine
evil, the Divine death, is implicit in each Great Entity, and is the basis of its manifestation and evolution. For without limitation, finiteness, there can be no manifestation, and without death or discarding of the outworn, there can be no progress. These elements then of Cosmic opposition are always present in a manifested universe; but universal evil, under its two aspects of sin or perverted force, and disease or perverted form, are due to the irregularities of orbit caused by passings of great organisms upon different planes of the Cosmos. These are always found in their extreme form at the beginnings of an evolution, and are generally adjusted in the course of an evolution as compensations are made, until, at the end of an evolution, a perfect and rhythmical balance of the whole Cosmos has been achieved - a synthesis of action and reaction which maintains stability. You may conceive of the Cosmos as extended in space and in time. But when you come to consider a Great Entity, its parts or aspects are not extended in space or time, but are implicit in its nature as habitual reactions which are made whenever and wherever the appropriate stimulus is forthcoming. Therefore, all the phases of Cosmic evolution - The Rings, the Rays and the Planes - occupy neither time nor space in the organism of a Great Entity, but are implicit in its nature. This is the fourth dimension - the dimension of the implicit nature of the nuclear atom, which determines the nature of the manifested universe which it projects. We have seen then, that the travelling atom builds itself a form of Cosmic substance out of the matter of the seven Cosmic planes; and this form, of which the nuclear atom with its habituated reactions is the ensouling life, is subject to the influences enumerated. We have now, you will perceive, traced two phases of evolution, the Cosmos phases, and the more rapid recapitulation of the phases of the development of a Great Entity; and we have studied that Great Entity in its relation to the Cosmos which is its environment, and to the Central Stillness which is the compensation of all forces of the Cosmos, which is its God. We will now consider the life of a Great Entity in relation to the universe of which it is itself the God - the Creator - the Conditioner - and the Sustainer. You will perceive that a Great Entity comes out from the Central Stillness and takes its place upon its appointed circuit, and conducts its organisation under the influence of the negative or destructive phase of the Cosmos, and this may seem strange to you, that creation should take place under the influence of a destructive phase of the Cosmos, or any other organisation which, by overbalancing the synthesis of forces achieved in a phase of evolution, causes them to embark upon a fresh phase of development in order to re-establish their harmony; and as they commence this phase with the experience of the preceding phase implicit in their nature, they commence where the last phase ended. They climb upon its shoulders; and thereby evolution arises to a greater complexity, for it has now become an organisation of organisms. You will see this principle prevailing throughout all things, great and little, above and below, it is one of the Cosmic principles, and one little known, if known at all. Likewise the phases of development during which a Great Entity organises itself are internal and therefore subjective. They are not carried out under the stimulus of sensations derived from external conditions, but under the stimulus of feelings arising from internal conditions, and the phase corresponding to the phase of existence which a human soul passes through between death and birth."

It is to epigenesis in a transition state that we owe the origin of evil in a universe.
