Birmingham Promoters update - w/c May 24th

First off a BIG THANK YOU too all those that have come down to gigs recently! There has been some truely special acts on the go (such as Grown Ups, Shapes, Underground Heroes and Real Estate to name a few) with some seriously good sunshine to match!

This week is equally as exciting (and I've heard the weather is supposed to be too) with Jim Bob (Carter USM) with support from Burnside gracing The Hare and Hounds tomorrow (Wednesday) evening.

In Carter USM Jim Bob had 14 top 40 singles, one number 1 album and played over 800 gigs all over the world. Since Carter USM, Jim Bob has released two albums and three singles with his disco-pop-punk group Jim’s Super Stereoworld, three solo albums as Jim Bob and played various live shows both with his band and solo!! For lovers of Indie / acoustic / alternative music, send an email to carlo@birminghampromoters.com with your full name and you can get in for a stunning £5! That's a summer saving of 5 whole English pounds!!

Also on Wednesday we have a great gig at the Flapper with Butterfly Fan the Inferno supported by Belfast boys, LaFaro. check out thier video here, it's pretty damn good:

Brummy boys RedLine Rebellion will also be gracing the Flapper Stage bringing big hair and big riffs. We are also very happy to have the rescheduled Wax Fang opening this grand night, check out them out here:

We are offering a £4 list to those who want to come down to apologise for the confusion with the Wax Fang gig being rescheduled, just drop us an email with your names to carlo@birminghampromoters.com.

Thursday at the Hare & Hounds in association with Miss Perry we present to you Dan Sartain with support from The Rivers Presely Set.

Dan Sartain is a American rock and roll musician from Birmingham, Alabama. His music encompasses a variety of genres including rockabilly and blues. NME said “Sartain is a genius. His songs fly me to the moon.”
Dont miss out on this very special night with Support from AMAZING band The Rivers Presley set as well as Kerrang! DJs to get the crowd rollin’, again, email for limited cheap list tickets.

We have a special treat for all you hardcore metal fans on Saturday at the Flapper with Pray For Divinity, The Safety Fire and This Legion. This alternative hardcore night will rock your socks off and leave you gagging for more!
