Discovering old tags: Hardcore
Set 25 2012, 23h39
I actually really love this music, but have not heard it since Techno in the 90s. Now that I know the name, it's easy to find and submit myself to.

Musicals: Obscure Artists
Set 3 2012, 21h28
If you are looking for new artists to expand your library, musicals are ever better than compilations. They often list actors as the artist, some of who do not have any other songs. This is usually better than a compilation, which may have some artists already in your library.
Start with Rocky Horror Picture Show and Grease... -
What to buy with $2 Free Amazon?
Jul 30 2012, 20h44
Look for a one-hit wonder or two. Ended up with Fake Blood's Fix Your Accent and I Think I Like It. Other considerations included Mondotek's Alive and some miscellaneous Dubstep. -

Besides her hits, I am not in love with her. Like a less interesting Pat Benatar. -
My TagCloud
Jul 11 2012, 23h53
You should take a look at my tagcloud: it is obviously the best. You can see the eclecticism, but with a clear ELECTRONIC dominance. That is exactly who I am.

Greatest Songs Ever: The Set
Jul 9 2012, 20h45
Just listened to Greatest Songs Ever: Brazil and it really was perfect. The collection is quite large and should be the perfect resource for finding new artists and exploring different regions, while listening to the best the have to offer.
Compare http://www.last.fm/music/Various+Artists/Greatest+Songs+Ever:+Brazil with my previous approach, weekly top region charts: http://www.last.fm/charts/place/Brazil?ending=1341748800. -
Salsa: A Musical History, the first journal entry
Jun 23 2012, 16h44
This is the perfect venue to share my music explorations. Finally figured that out after recently reaching 5000 artists.
I just finished listening to this 4 CD set on Spotify: http://open.spotify.com/album/27oVaSPdhHvmM6vW2J2YBj. That app is not good for much, but it is perfect for compilations and new releases.
Next: a few more musicals. They are great ways to add new artists to your library. -
RJD2 & Company rock the Social Boat Club
Mar 16 2010, 6h37
Mon 15 Mar – RJD2, Happy Chichester, Break Science
RJ is a fantastic performer, including live video, sampling sessions, costumes, as well as some static video clips. Besides the festivities, the music seemed to include work from all his albums, playing to the audience's heart strings.
Sorry you missed it.
