haha, awesome. I guess we've all got our guilty pleasures. Just finished talking about that with another last.fm user the other day. Evidently, Justin Timberlake was in her charts--but she normally is into EBM, Industrial, Synthpop, and Darkwave. So when I was listening to her radio station and all of a sudden Justin Timberlake came on, I froze in confusion for a second...and then just bust out laughing, haha! We joked about it for a minute. cool! my boss is from Ghujarat, and my friend Tony's family is from Syria and Lebanon. Can't say I'm a big fan of arabic when it's spoken--to me it always sounds like people are arguing with each other. But then, knowing my friend Tony, he probably IS, LoL. I'm entranced by most Indian dialects when their sung--and I used to be in LOVE with Arabic singing. i think both cultures pride singers who have perfect pitch. I used to have a sweet ton of prayer calls and sufi chants; i also used to have a motherload of bollywood hits from A.R. Rahman, songs by Udit Narayan and a few other great artists

haha! good idea. maybe i'll skip the pond next year and have a walk around a few countries. no major german-speaking abilities here, bro. though i've met some really nice friends from Germany over the years who've taught me a few words or phrases. i'm decent with spanish...used to know a bit of japanese...but my mind has sprung a leak of late and the knowledge is draining away. what about you? what languages are you familiar with?
