The band has so far released fifteen studio albums, four "best of" compilations, nine live albums and four limited boxed-sets. They have also won the Ivor Novello Award for international achievement in 2000.

They formed in 2002 and released their debut album The End of the Beginning the same year on their own Revive Records label. Their two music videos for The End of the Beginning and From Dust to the Beyond, received airplay on MTV UK and on other MTV European networks. All Is Violent, All Is Bright (2005) is the band's second album. The album features their build ups from serene ambience to searing intensity and is a closer representation of their live sound.

The band is comprised of four fictional band members: 2-D (vocals, keyboard), Murdoc Niccals (bass), Noodle (guitar, vocals), and Russel Hobbs (drums). These characters only appear in animated form and are not alter-egos of real people, as is often mistakenly assumed.

The songs, all of which are instrumental, are usually focused on layered guitar melodies. Strings and pianos are also prominently featured in some songs. MONO are known for their powerful live shows and their complex guitar work. Their first EP, titled “Hey, you” appeared in September, 2000. So far, they have released five full albums: “Under The Pipal Tree”, “One Step More And You Die”, “Walking cloud and deep red sky, Flag fluttered and the sun shined” and “You Are There”. Early 2009 they’ve released “Hymn To The Immortal Wind”. They also have several other records, including a remix album, a collaborative split record with Pelican, an album collaborating with World’s end girlfriend and another EP, titled “Memorie dal Futuro”.

Two singles were released from the album, "Harrowdown Hill" and "Analyse". Yorke formed Atoms for Peace, who toured in 2010 performing the entirety of The Eraser.

The band is made up of Chris King, Raymond Brown, Jeremy Galindo, and Andrew Miller. Raymond Brown has since gone to medical school and handed the torch to Donovan Jones, who joined in February of '08. They are signed to Magic Bullet. The band formed in 2005 and released the EP which was originally supposed to be the band's demo, it almost wasn't released, Young Mountain, the same year. The EP received favorable reviews. They released their self-titled debut album on January 29, 2008.

They were hard enough for metal fans, yet their dark subject matter and punky attack placed them among the front ranks of the Seattle-based grunge bands. With their heavy, guitar-driven blues-rock sound, Led Zeppelin are regularly cited as one of the progenitors of heavy metal and hard rock music. However, the band's individualistic style drew from many sources and transcends any one genre.

He was born Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin, of Polish and French parentage, on 1st March 1810 in the village of Żelazowa Wola, Poland. In Warsaw he was hailed as a child prodigy and as the "second Mozart" for his piano and composition skill, for which the composer Robert Schumann complimented the talented pianist: "Hats off, gentlemen, a genius!" Due to the political situation in Poland, he left his country for France at the age of twenty.

After more than a year of rehearsals and composing, the first real fruits of their labour came to light in mid 1992 with the release of the demo ‘Jhva Elohim Meth’, recorded at Sweden’s Gorysound Studio and produced by the multi-instrumentalist Dan Swanö. The demo sold out immediately, bringing Katatonia to the attention of Dutch label Vic Records, who went on to re-release the demo as a mini CD, titled ‘Jhva Elohim Meth – the Revival’.
