10.I Miss You
It really got me into the music I listened to over this decade. Me and my best mate could always lyric dance to it aha.
It may not be the greatest song ever, I don't even listen to it anymore, but without it I would be a different person
An amazing crescending ballad, which accompanied my favourite holiday in Ibiza, so simple, with lyrics that really hit me. It has such a peaceful aurora of which I have such fond memories listening to.
8.Clarity
I discovered this about the same time as the song above in May 2008, easily the best John Mayer song it is faultless and it's lyrics really signify it's importance to me.
7.Adieu
I have only recently realised how important this song is to me, it brings back memories of some of the best times of my life, when Enter Shikari was hyped amognst my friends, I think this song will always remain so important to me.
This will always make me think of .summer times of which I have such good memories, my friendships and so many other great memories, it's such a positive song and I will never grow tired of it.
5.My Heart
Hayley Williams said midway into this track that it was the greatest moment of her life live, I'm pretty sure it meant as much to me and she was just sucking up to the crowd anyway. This will always remind me of better times of love, and is a real heartbreaking song for me which really makes it so important and powerful.
4.Heaven
I don't remember a time out of the god knows how many that I have listened to this song and not gotten shivers down my spine, it's just so epic, and has an incredible build up to the ending, Tom Delonge has created a masterpiece which I will mostly always choose to witness amazing moments with.
I guess this is the most important positive love song I know, it will always bring back good memories of love and really is so simple and effective as a song. It's hard to explain how important this song is to me and it may not be clear why this is third, but it is, and there's a reason behind that.
This is so incredibly significant to me, it reminds me of the best time of my life better than any other song, which is why I feel it's so important. It is an incredibly epic song, I didn't think this band were capable of, but this should be one of the last songs I ever hear for sure. It's definitely my most listened in the past few years.
I'll end this list where I started, Blink, the most important band I'll have ever listened to. This song is number one, because it is the first song I have ever said 'This is my favourite song in the world' I've always wanted it to be that way. It's more impacting had blink still been apart, yet still regardless of it's significance today, I know that before, a few years ago, this meant alot to me. It has meant the most of any song this decade for sure.
