Yep. I'm starting my grad studies at University of Chicago. I'll be leaving Tucson at the end of this month. Too bad there are 0 good shows coming up in the meantime though.

With you on Animal Collective-I also like Crocodiles & Dan Auerbach-Hip Hop wise Doom & Mr Lif-aside them that it's mostly been about wonky beats & genre crossing electronic-Harmonic 313, Martyn & Moderat are all very good imho. Lukid is fantastic but as a December 08 release-I need to decide if it'll be in my albums of the year :)

Thanks for the visit Nathan .... you're listening to some great stuff as usual! Have you heard the new Grizzly Bear? I've been enjoying that, along with Neko and Metric (both of whom I was lucky to see recently). I got Andrew Bird/Decemberists and New Pornographers/DCFC concerts coming up next month ... anything you're looking forward to?
