I've just listened to the new Minus the Bear, Planet of Ice ..and unfortunately I wasn't so impressed.. it was rather depressing and sort of, dull to me, like they weren't quite as excited about it. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't terrible, I liked it, but as a long time mtb lover I expect better energy & more energy.

I hadn't listened to Doolittle by the The Pixies in forever and I listened to the whole thing straight through twice the other day and I remembered how much i love this album. :)

for new years one of the shows i went to was Lotus with Jazzam opening for them.
jazzam was good as hell as they always are
theywere really rocking out.they have sounded so so good lately.
then lotus came on. ok i've been to a fair few shows. and this was one of the best, maybe the best ever. lotus just rocked my face offfff. i was having such a good time. they are soooo good. they jam so wellll. they just go on and on and on and it's all so good and it just keeps going and wowwwwinggg you. and everyone was dancing! suchhhhhh amazing dance music. so happy and groovy and flowy and ecstatic and joyyy! exuberant impassioned fantasticcc. couldn't even believe it.
bottom line fabulous new years. hope everyone had one just as good or better. i could have danced to lotus for dayyssss!
