Delighted you are enjoying The Prids. I came across a band called 'The Manhattan Love Suicides' from - er Leeds. They may be on the bill with 'The Pains of Being Pure at Heart' from NY, coming this way soon. The Manhattan... track 'Clusterf*&k' is ok (despite its uncouth title).

They seemed to get through a lot of album and some new stuff. The worst thing about seeing them live isn't the tinnitus, its - everything else you listen to seems limp by comparison. Any recommendations for similar live acts are welcomed. There is a band called The Prids that may come over in Autumn, apparently, there are brilliant live.
