51,000th track: David Gilmour - Take a Breath

Journey f'n rocks- period. You haven't lived until you've been in Locals Bar downtown, surrounded and crowded by both old friends and newly made ones, rocking out to Journey and having everyone sing at the top of their lungs passionately in unison. Let us also not forget the famous napkin fireworks either. See you there my friends.

Journey's music was some of the best of its time and still is. Granted, I don't want to listen to it every day, but I still know how good it is. I doubt even you could deny that Perry has an unbelievably strong, soaring voice. He could rock a stadium without a microphone.When you are a true music lover, you can appreciate all genres for what they are or were for their time.

Gone are the days when loving Journey was shameful and wrong! Now on to the days of yelling it proudly! It never hurts to get a song featured on Family Guy.

Crazy story.. earlier this year.. the radio in the van i was being picked up and taken to work at, was on an oldies channel, and then Don't Stop Believin' started playing.. and i went WTF!? I seriously can't believe it to this day.. because all you hear is the same old shit on that station.. but aparently there upping there standards, and got alot of mad respect from me for playing Journey.

Music is a universal language and Journey is not only fluent in it, but passionate and soulful in delivering it as well. I just wanted to say thank you for enriching my life and the lives of this generation and the children of generations to come, with your music. Your songs and it's classic sound transcends time, style, age and - culture - this is most evident in the diverse crowds that flock to your concerts. Thank you Neal Schon for discovering Arnel and to Jonathan, Ross and Deen, for not being too exclusive - and for being open minded enough to allow a non american to sing your great all american tunes - and sing them well he does - Arnel's voice is so pure, it draws you into the story of the song and you are forever held captive by it. Thank you Arnel - cliche as it may sound - you never stopped believing - thank you for singing your heart out every night.

I an amazed and really thrilled by how many of you have said you are new fans - it means that the fan base is ever growing and not becoming a cult thing. That the band can grab the imagination and loyalty across the years is a testament to the music they creat and the feelings it engenders in people's hearts and souls.
