Just wanted to say "hi". I discovered that the Pretenders have a largely remastered best of album that came out earlier this year. I was completely unaware of it until recently. I've been enjoying it today while i put up my Xmas tree. I know it's not holiday music but Pretenders always put me in good mood.

well, their first album called "Miel Nube Hiel" it is mooore shoegaze, maybe u'll like it too, but then, after "En cielo de océano", they made more remix albums, minimal and ambient music, like "Naves sin puertos" album that I recomend u, maybe u'll enjoy if u like minimal sounds. Finally, made a last compile where collect best shoegaze songs.

i can see her angst though... i mean, you read the interview, she was angry at Robin for his drug habit, and i can see why she wont forgive him. i wouldnt if i were her... but still... they were incredible together. and its a true fact... its sad when her voice isnt there...

the likelihood of them getting back together?? not very much from reading the interview with Guardian that you sent... :(, but i like this new feel that Moses has. like i aforementioned, the jazzy-ness is smooth and incredible. i like how its a little Trip-Hop like the stuff she did with Massive Attack (which is resonant since shes with the drummer of M.A.). but you are right, Robin does worm his way into my brain, and i see myself going back for more! its still a disappointment when i dont hear Elizabeth's voice though...
