Hi Wipqozn! I saw that you have a pretty good taste in music and thought that you'd maybe like our music as well. We are three girls from the forests of Sweden and we are going to record our very first album in Woodstock this summer! We would love if you checked out this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sc_SKuEZm0o ! Let us know what you think (it's much appreciated) by commenting the video, and also check out our cover of 'Kathy's Song' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44kjqZUC5PU that we got the chance to play live for Paul Simon! Love, VIDAR

Saw a sout you left for an Athlete song, popped onto your page. Nice! Your radio looks good, have to give it a play. You have seen A lot of bands! I envy you! Would love to see a lot them, especially Birds of Tokto. Living in Buffalo,NY I don't think I ever will see them. Man, I wish I could have seen Trial Kennedy! Take care!

It would have been nice if my ipod and iphone scrobbled properly over the last few years. It annoys me that DLC, Tame Impala, Sigur Ros, Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes aren't in my top 10!!.... I feel like I have to cheat and play them while I sleep haha

I agree, it's a really sad story, but it really made the songs hit home for me. Especially Book of James.

Nope, they're relatively unknown, trying to get them some recognition but it's slow going!

Yours is a good list too. Yeah I was happy with the list overall as well. Like I said though, surprised there wasn't more PJ Harvey as they played her album HEAPS earlier in the year. Found my actual list in the confirmation e-mail: Active Child - Hanging On/ Bjork - Crystalline/ Florence + The Machine - Shake It Out/ Florence + The Machine - Only If For A Night/ PJ Harvey - The Words That Maketh Murder/ Panics, The - Majesty/ Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know {Ft. Kimbra}/M83 - Midnight City/Architecture In Helsinki - Contact High/ Kate Bush - Snowed In At Wheeler Street. Had been listening to Florence over and over when voting and couldn't vote between the first two tracks. Astounded you have over 110,000 last.fm plays. I feel i'm way behind. However I had scrobbling problems, and I do listen to most of my music on CDs in the car... I wish scrobbling was more... widespread. :)

Oh gawd, I waste far too much time doing it - although I haven't for a while. My attempt to digitise all my music brought me back here more often - oh and fixing that problem I had with scrobbling I mentioned the other night. I saw Gotye at the Brisbane powerhouse, on the most recent tour. Tickets sold so quickly. I was lucky cause I actually rang the box office. I think the website had melted. I don't understand how people turn on overplayed songs either. It's not Gotye's fault. The song deserves to be played all the time, cause it's a GREAT song. It was a no-brainer for #1 this year. Yeah I voted. I think I posted my list to FB somewhere. I voted Gotye/M83/Florence. Also PJ Harvey (I don't think she got ANYWHERE - which I was very surprised about - but at the same time not surprised, cause people forget albums and songs from earlier in the year. Will have to find my list of the 10 songs I voted. What did you vote for?

Oh, also - I see you've seen Kimbra. What was she like live? I bought her album at JB Hifi the otherday - it was only 9.95! The album is pretty good actually. Wondering if that translated live. Speaking of which - if you see tickets for Gotye - buy them and see him live. I saw him perform last year - fantastic concert. Massive backing band, and he is such a perfectionist on stage. Great visuals too. A great concert to see.

Manually! Nice work. It's a good idea. I might attempt the same thing. LOL @ John Farnham. Yes he was supposed to have retired YEARS ago. Even when I saw that concert he was supposed to have been retired. He had gotten really fat and was paying-out younger aussie artists saying that the "sing with an aussie accent". Arrogant SOB. Anyway, nice work on 100 artists seen live/100 concerts. Will have to work out mine.

Arran! Friend request accepted! Thanks again for the ticket to M83. I had a totally awesome night. Listening to them now and reminiscing. :) I like your 'I've Seen Live' list on the side. Did you do it or use a script? Where'd you get the script from? LOL at the very small "John Farnham". I unfortunately (sorry if you really like him) have seen him live too, but through no fault of my own. He was supposed to have been retired, but they put him onto the bill of a Stevie Nicks concert (of Fleetwood Mac fame). He wasn't originally advertised as part of it. :-/

Thank you --- he's a favorite of mine --- probably the only artist I've bothered to purchase a vinyl copy for my record player =) The quote you have in your 'about me' section pretty much sums up 'why' i need music. Enjoy your tunes, whatever they may be. (Coldplay? very nice : ) love)

Welll.. it's a complicated story. :P But my boyfriend lives there and I'm tired of the long-distance thing. lol I'm pretty excited to go, though! I've only been to Australia once so far, and I really enjoyed my time there.
