ah tell me more! what are those sleazy Italian movies? never heard, never seen! although I like groovy music. oh thanks, I'd like to hear :) I saw Big Sleep today, didn't really like it, I expected it to be better, but the dialogue was sooo cool, and so were Bogie's. but why did Lauren Bacall speak like she was from brooklyn or something? she sounded like Queen Latifah :(

rainy west, it's sounds just wonderful! naa, Ingrid Bergman had to leave, so now it's time for Jean Seberg, she's American actually. which movie with Ingrid did you see? Steve McQueen had to leave as well? oh, I've found too much great music lately, haven't got time to listen through everything ;( some old jazz from the 30s and 40s (haha), but then also great new American folk music, like Donovan Quinn And The 13th Month and The Skygreen Leopards. have you heard any of those? and then I must mention the Atonement soundtrack, a beautiful one! what about you? have you discovered anything good?

Yeah, I put off listening to Love for the longest time, but I finally started getting into them about two years ago. Bowie is just amazing...the only word that comes to mind right now, haha. I remember the first Syd Barrett song I ever heard was "Baby Lemonade", and from that moment on, I was hooked!

It definitely is! Well, I don't know where you're from, but it's good Raveonettes weather in New York too, haha. It does seem like the only thing I listen to lately is Adam Green, hah...but my favorite band of all time is actually The Velvet Underground. But some of my other favorites include The Beatles, The Zombies, Love, David Bowie, Syd Barrett, among many others. :)

You should definitely check out that album! :) Yeah, I think I like Pretty In Black a tiny bit better than Chain Gang of Love. I might be a little biased though since I got that album first and know it better, and I really love the fact that Maureen Tucker is playing drums on some of the tracks.

Mothership Connection is where it's at, but they're all good. Standing On the Verge of Getting it On has had my attention for the last few days though. Also, it's nice to find someone that likes The Raveonettes this much too.
