very belated reply... field day was very good! watched mogwai whilst being rained heavily on, which was an experience to say the least :) four tet was pretty boring, he just pressed play on his laptop really. he had some dancers with hula hoops that had fairy lights on though! hehe. have you found any goodn ew music lately?

don't think i'm going to catch mastodon (it's this friday and a friend's going away for a month the day after so i'm gonna say goodbye to them instead i reckon), but will definately check out blood mountain - i even have it on my computer, haha. skygreen leopards, mmmm they make lovely music, you should listen to them :) if you don't already. and you should definitely come to field day. do you need a hand with any music to replenish your itunes? if i've got it, i'll donate it :)

mastodon are playing here very soon actually, i think it's sold out though. apparently they're awesome live. do you have £30? i'm going to field day festival in london (mogwai headlining!) with some friends in august, you should come along. apparently eits missed out sheffield by accident on all their previous tours so they're compensating for it now :) isn't that nice of them! i can't wait. which mastodon should i start with then? the concept album about moby dick? haha.

yeah, new isis is fantastic... really like it. they played a couple of songs from it when i saw them live in december and it worked really well, need to see them again now! : ) think a friend played me the new mastodon but i don't listen to that much really. currently playing the new tori amos, sounds alright so far but i always like her earlier stuff much much more. she's one to listen to, if you don't already. start with the album 'boys for pele'. i've been getting more into 'feels' by ac recently, bees is a great song!

i didn't like the old username anymore. bit crap to get rid of all those plays, but ahwell - it was annoying me. luckily lastfm imported my itunes listening data since i got this computer (novemberish), so i got 6000ish plays straight off. :)

Auugh, that sucks :( Mono were amazing, really really intense - their stuff works perfectly live. 65dos were also good, was abit packed and they didn't start playing til about 1.30am at which point I was pretty tired, heh, but they were good. Not as good as the first time I saw them but they played for longer this time. The set was a mixture of old and new - Retreat! Retreat! obviously featured - it was quite an even split. The new stuff they played I really wasn't that keen on but they made up for it with the old stuff :) How were Animal Collective? I'm very jealous.
