Sobre mim

Music is what life sounds like!

I listen to music basically only with my headphones.
My equipment:
Soundcard: Asus Xonar D1
Amplifier: Sony TA-F470
Headphones: AKG K-240 MK II

I enjoy good conversations but also smalltalk, so talk to me, if you like. You know you want to!

Greetings, music recommendations etc. are very welcome :)
You're welcome to add me as your friend :) Please leave a shout though!

I don't do drugs, I don't drink and I don't smoke.
which does not mean, I don't accept people who do.

The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Ships, motorcycles? Were the circuits like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then, one day... I got in.

Counting flags since 14th August 2010.

I said I'd never let you go, and I never did
I said I'd never let you fall and I always meant it
If you didn't have this chance then I never did
You'll always find me right there, again

Constantly relying on consuming to feel content
But only because we've lost touch with this home that we've spent
Trillions of dollars tainting for our wants, not our needs
And now we're growing tired of planting bleary-eyed seeds.

Sometimes I do wish apples were our currency
So the hoarded millions rot in their vaults
And that'd teach you to lay off the assault
That you're barraging on the lands of the poor
And I know we've all got enough problems of our own
But they're not show stoppers sitting on our throne in a home
Heated by a life unknown to the exploited

We think we have the right to enforce democracy
when we're weakening ours everyday
What hypocrisy.

Everyday you sit there with your friends at the cafe
Talking shit about me, and all the people on the street
That doesn't really agree.
And I find it hard to cope with this insanity and jealousy
That comes from people with a guarantee to fail,
still blaming it on me

Living in a cold world
But it doesn't have to be that way
We're keeping ourselves down
We don't bite the oppressive hand
That's feeding us all lies
Yes denial feels so good
But we are marching ourselves
To an untimely grave
Simply by our actions

All I know is that first, you’ve got to get mad.
You’ve gotta say,
“I’m a human being, goddammit! My life has value!”
So, I want you to get up now.
I want all of you to get up out of your chairs.
I want you to get up right now and go to the window,
open it, and stick your head out and yell,

“I’m as mad as hell, and I’m not going to take this anymore!”

We allow our governments to make decisions without giving us all the facts. They send troops abroad who will die in order that we can steal resources from the people who have them. People who meant us little or no harm until we invaded their country. We allow those troops to commit horrendous atrocities and hang our alleged enemies for much less.

We’ve spent years entrusting our futures to our parents, our governments, the banks and the corporations who have continually lobbied for their own interests, and we’ve let them make selfish decisions that have left our society teetering on the edge of ruin.

We’re blinded from the information that would really shock us by stories of sex and sleeze which doesn’t make the smallest difference to our lives, and so we have no desire to do anything about the things that really do. We’ve watched as greed wipes billions of the worlds stock markets, destroys jobs and lives, and proves that capitalism is just as corruptible by human nature as communism.

These are tough times but we seek solace in our friends and Co-Conspirators, we make small differences in each other’s lives, and dream that we can make real progress.
