Still sounds really good, your almost professional quality mixing and production now.

Did you learn that by ear or use a tab? Either way, sounds great and your production sounds terrific.

Those two would be too hard for me to pick between personally, hahah. But I will say that Individual seems to be the most intense out of the newer ones, it jumps out of the gate at breakneck speed, and at least seems to be the fastest Death album. Andy I do think is the best guest soloist that Chuck had on the albums too. He's very versatile, can play trad metal or shred up a storm on a death metal album.

We Live is a fucking great album. Criminally underrated. you should give out a bunch of your cds there, I'm sure there would be people there who'd enjoy Afrobomination.

Are you going this year? I'll probably never make it to one.

Also, I like that final version of Rims of Steel. Production on it sounds great.

It's an honor that Dave gets a proper Viking funeral. There's very few people who deserve a pyre as much as him. There's a longer video on youtube but I didn't watch it.

Well Sodom did do The Final SIgn of Evil, which is a newer full-length in the vein of that EP. The person behind the facebook page was probably being truthful, it was probably Don. They do generally plan a lot of that stuff out in advance and just do splits with friends or people they already know. They only tour so they can go on vacation, and they don't really even play in Cleveland that much. The fact that they're playing twice within a couple months is very unusual, but good. That's too bad you don't have a local scene a ston'es throw away, but at least if a big band comes in you really want to see you know you can if you want to.

I don't know, bro, just sounded off.

Everything else sounds fine through them, the mix was just kinda buried.

Also I did get to see both Nunslaughter and Acid Witch already at the end of June. They played the same night and Jim Sadist gave me a pro printed poster of the show's flyer. He recognizes me and says hello whenever he sees me. http://oi61.tinypic.com/2nh0uh5.jpg :P but yeah did you hear Angelic Dread? Great album. New Midnight album rules too.

Dude I live in Cleveland hahaha. That's cool I picked up on that, that's a good record. It's total chaos. It's funny how Sodom went from that to Persecution Mania. Someone really cracked the whip.

Might just be my speakers, but this mix is atrocious. Everything seems too buried in the mix, except the drums. The solos sounded cool but I couldn't hear all of it.

I like this song. The vocals are very Drawing Down the Moon era Beherit-esque, and this is good oldschool black/speed metal. Solo was some cool whammy bar stuff, kind of like Obsessed by Cruelty.

That's the top of my CD shelf hahaha. But I do have a lot of Morbid Angel stuff, though I know I'll be getting a lot more in my life. I used a lot of their songs to teach myself how to play a guitar so they're probably the most important band for me. I'm glad you dig my stuff, Gospel of the Witches especially is one of my favorite songs that I've recorded. Yes I have seen Midnight, if you go on the Treeweaver Facebook page you can see some pictures I took of Athenar at the front of the stage when they were playing. I'm seeing them again this weekend with Nunslaughter, Acid Witch, and Shitfucker at the Hell's Headbangers compound. I'll check out that song, I'm listening to Left Hand Path right now though.

It was over a year since you last scrobbled. That's a long ass time. Or a long time ass.

Far and away my favorite Morbid Angel album. I have it on both picture disc and CD. http://oi57.tinypic.com/x588qq.jpg Listen to it on a good pair of headphones and get blown away by the dual guitar parts and ripping solos. Love the extra tracks too, don't know why people like to hate that album because of all the extra goodies contained in it.

Too much focus on socializing, not enough on music. I typically drink at home and just listen to records or watch TV. I just got stoned for Morbid Ange before I drove over there, and all I got from the bar was a Red Bull. When it's a band like that, things like moshing are out of the question. Didn't even look at my phone once while they were playing, for the most part I was just fixed upon Trey and trying to trace every finger movement across the fretboard. I was glad I brought my glasses. But I was making eye contact with David a few times too. It's funny they went to change guitars for Trey to his 7 string in the middle of the set, and I of course knew what was coming... Where the Slime Live, so I screamed the song title as loud as I could. Sure enough, that's what they played...

You missed Winter too? That sucks man. I've never been to MDF, don't have much interest in festivals of any kind really. You should definitely check out the Summer Slaughter tour dates and see if they've played in your area yet on the circuit, after this is up it's nothing but Europe for them for a while. They show no signs of slowing down though so I'm sure they're going to be bouncing about the U.S. a whole lot for the forseeable future. Really don't miss out on a chance to see them, yeah sure there's some gay ass fuckin' deathcore bands on that tour, but get there late like I did and you'll have a good time seeing Morbid Angel.
