I suspect I’m not the first person to come to R. Dean Taylor via The Fall and their cover of There’s A Ghost In My House(they also did Gotta See Jane later). In this year of Motown’s Golden Anniversary it would be good to see RDT getting his just rewards. You probably know more RDT songs than you think you do, and not just his joint writing credits (Love Child) but, at least, his big solo hit Indiana Wants Me, which is a great melodrama. Under 8,000 scrobbles on Lastfm (perhaps brought down by his difficult to tag name). You’re missing out.
