Christmas Albums

I received eight CDs for Christmas in total:

1. "Weird Al" Yankovic - Straight Outta Lynwood: His best album since Bad Hair Day
2. In the Wake of Poseidon: It really does sound like a retread of In the Court of the Crimson King, but the tracks Cat Food and especially The Devil's Triangle make it really special nonetheless
3. Under The Skin: Buckingham continues to show that he's a talent beyond his work with Fleetwood Mac
4. Larks' Tongues in Aspic: Simply extraordinary!
5. Highway Companion: An amazing album that sound like Tom Petty doing what he does best
6. Starless and Bible Black: This one will need to grow on me...
7. Surprise: Eno's soundscapes with Simon's singer/songwriter sensibilities make this an interesting listen with many layers
8. The Power to Believe: Probably my favourite album of the bunch

Hmmm... I didn't get any CD's for Christmas... but I did get The Complete Calvin and Hobbes, so I'm quite content.
