Cool, wie fandest du Dimmu Borgir's letztes Album ? Also Abrahadabra.

Spent most of that year in my mom's whomb - listened to music nontheless. Billy Idol, Bon Jovi and Alice Cooper was, what I was "allowed" to listen to
First own musical preferences set. Happy Hardcore! Bought my first LP: ...And the Beat Goes on
After listening pretty much only to Scooter and what my parents "forced" me to listen, I started getting deeper in touch with electronic music. Cosmic Gate and Svenson & Gielen were very important to me, and a step into the world of Trance and Hard Trance
Hardstyle was coming up as a harder form of hard trance. Awesome stuff! Bought several mix CDs. The first three "Blutonium presents Hardstyle" samplers were a revelation to me. Spent lots of time in record stores to discover new tunes.
Puberty started to kick in so my musical preferences started to chance a bit. My Punk Rock era commenced. Rawside and Dritte Wahl got that going.
After several contancts in the years before, I was mostly listening to metal now. From better known bands as Dimmu Borgir to (that time) rather unknown Týr and others.
Mostly Industrial and EBM that year. Centhron and Suicide Commando really sucked me into that. Also discovered the world of Rhythmic Noise with Nullvektor and Nin Kuji - realized that pretty much all kinds of music were awesome and despite being a goth (or rather dressing up in black wearing make-up and pretending to be a douche) now, digged out the old Techno and Trance shit again.
I discovered YOJI and Remo-con that year. Tech dance. I was stunned - something fresh, awesome and new. Despite there being only a few tracks of that genre, I tried to gather and guzzle up what I could find in stores.
Back in 2005 a friend of mine sent me a youtube link and asked me, if I knew that tracks name. I did not. I thought it was awesome - my research was bad though. In 2008 I finally found out by accident. I was so happy that I spent three hours listening to that track, being fascinated by the soundscapes. It was Arrakis. I had heard of DnB before, but never really spent time on listening to it. That track totally changed that. I found artists as Shapeshifter who enchanted me with their diversity. Remembering the old Soundtrack for need for speed: underground, I dug out some Fluke tracks. In combination with DnB, I started chasing down Bigbeat, IDM, DnB and Breakbeat music.
getting in touch with dubstep, thanks to Optimus Gryme. Became mainstream and crap to me soon. I spent loads of time just listening to music, evaluating, sorting, adoring and so on in the following years.. Though trance, Hardstyle and other genres I'd loved had changed and I didn't quite like the new stuff.
Now with lots of experience and knowledge on music, I know a shitload of bands, genres, songs. Of course, more than I actually listen to - would be sad if I didn't. Dubstep has become mainstream some years ago and it sucks ass. One good album so far this year and it's already june. Music in general is still awesome though, but I hope it will change for the better in the next years. If it won't, well, that might just mean my taste is sticking to the stuff I've listened to in my teens. I'll try to keep track on today's music. Let's see what's ahead of me.
In terms of fresh releases and music pretty much a disappointment so far. Spent more time comparing headphones, IEMs and audio gear than actually discovering and listening to contemporary music I like. But seriously, as of April, there have been like 15 single Tracks / Vinyl singles and one album I've liked. That can't be it, right? Maybe I'm getting old and biased.
