hey there Ashley! Music world for me is pretty good. I've been discovering a few new bands and getting better acquainted with some old favourites. Right now I'm happy over the rare live album I found on Nine Inch Nails (: How have your earbuds been?

Yeah, I've always wanted to see them in either Columbus or in/near Rockville. I'm going to see them on my birthday in Indy,,,pretty excited about that. It'll be my 13th? show, but I'm yet to be disappointed. I saw Radiohead on Sunday....it was amazing, one of the better concert experiences (in just pure magnitude), second to maybe the Billy Joel and Elton John together....one of those things you should see if you get the chance.

I youtubed a bunch of stuff...and now I just got in from the Radiohead concert, so I'm in a music mood :-p. So I'll be checking out some more. I really liked Cold War Kids...they came on during the drive to the show too. Also, I'm a big fan of Folky stuff, So Old Crow Medicine Show is feeling glorious. And when a band can make that many pieces work well together, it's usually decent. I'll have to try and find some of Cornell's studio stuff...but knowing his past projects, I can't see it being bad. Grizzly Bear opened for Radiohead...I'd never listened to them before, but they had a really good sound and I'll be looking them up. I saw you went to the O.A.R. show...was that your first one? How was it?

Yeah, Matt Nathanson is one of my favs. I got to see him a few times with OAR, and some by himself. Including a show he did for about 20 of us at school a few years ago. Hilarious that man is. Most of those names I don't know, so it should give me some good stuff to look for. You should check out The Apprentice and/or Josh Holmes. I think you'd appreciate them. There's probably a bunch that aren't in my library on here since i didn't have a scrobbler on for well over a year or so. Thanks for the suggestions!

So you seem to listen to pretty much the exact type of stuff I do...any recommendations on smaller/local bands I can look up?

I'd assume you've heard it already since you're obviously a big fan as well, but just in case: http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/o_a_r_/2306901/album.jhtml Did you see the DeepRockDrive show as well?
