Hello! I'm back from travelling!

I've just finished catching up scrobbles for 7 weeks of listening in Australia and other places worldwide - on our travels we accumulated no less than 16 albums of world variety metal! I'm really glad to have done it, we found some great bands which I'll definitely follow up further.

60,000 track: New Beginnings (for ClamLydia)

I'm Shaun; a recent graduate in economics from University of York, England; currently working out what I want to do with my life. Music is a very substantial part of my life, I seem to plan my life around what I can listen to and when; not to mention the epic excel spreadsheet analysing my listening habits... but no-one else sees that because then I'd have no friends. Like most people, I'd like to say that I have an open mind and that I listen to a fairly wide variety of music. Having said that, most people who claim that are full of shit.

I predominantly listen to about half a dozen metal genres, and simular within rock, with a few dablings into electronica and dance. Always looking for more music - recommend away because I will listen to all serious recommendations, and more importantly I will give them a decent chance (see 'Library' below). The drawback of this is that it's rather time consuming, and the list is already very long!

And despite the scornful undertone of some of that description, I am actually a friendly person, I hope...! So leave me a shout (no blind friend requests, please); we'll chat!
