So I listened to When Day Descends - Ascension earlier this afternoon, and it is absolutely amazing. I think I'll like them quite a lot. Thanks for the suggestion. =) I think I may have that Noumena album as well; have to look for that when I get to my home computer. I was surprised that I didn't see Swallow the Sun, Daylight Dies, Callisto, or ISIS in the artists you've listened to! I highly recommend Swallow the Sun (any of their albums are good, but Ghosts of Loss is probably my favorite so far). If you're enjoying the post-rock instrumental thing going on in When Day Descends, I'd suggest you try Explosions in the Sky, or Red Sparowes... possibly Pelican. If you do end up listening to any of those, let me know if you liked them. And thanks a LOT for the torrent link man, I appreciate it. =)

You would probably like Diabolical Masquerade quite a lot, and Summoning is also very good. I'm not so certain about The Appleseed Cast.... they're a lot more indie rock than you might enjoy. Can't hurt to try though. I've been trying to find Veronika Decides to Die (Saturnus, which you obviously know!) for months now, and it's just not out there. Being a metalhead is a pain in the ass sometimes. =) I've been finding most of my new music on Last.fm as well for two years or so now. Have any recommendations for me?
