do you want to listen to only the rock bands or the other genres as well, because there's lot's of good work going on in the non-rock scene in india. Among the rock bands, there was Indus Creed. you should also listen to Thermal & a Quarter. Pentagram has a few good songs too. If you are looking for some good bands that don't really play rock music i can send you the links to their myspace pages.

For you wanting them sinigng in hindi, get Euphoria.best one...period. and there are not many bands singing in hindi...dont reemeber any now... but get THE CALL and EP both are awesome...
