Okay, so it's late, I'm a little tired, perched between a spot of depression and whatever's up next, and I have laundry to fold, so I made a playlist. I don't get it either. See if you like it:

1. Sanctioned In A Birdcage
2. Aaron And Maria
3. Lucky
4. Sixteen Military Wives
5. Madeline and Nine
6. First Day Back
7. Sapphire Bullets of Pure Love
8. Get Me Away from Here, I'm Dying
9. You Faded
10. The Sporting Life
11. Shivers
12. Buried Below
13. Cold Water
14. Fox in the Snow
15. St. Louise Is Listening
16. Punk as Fuck
17. I Keep a Diary
18. Fever Dream
19. We Both Go Down Together
20. Dead
21. Me and the Major

If you want to play along, I guess the rules are keep it under 80 minutes, restrict it to stuff you already have on your hard drive or on a CD that is currently in your CD drives (no fancy-pants importing tracks), and don't spend more than five minutes assembling it. I'm going to try it out and see how I like it.

How's about: 1. Chiodos: Baby, You Wouldn't Last A Minute On The Creek 2. Aphex Twin: untitled (hankie) 3. Belle & Sebastian: Dress Up In You 4. Nada Surf: Always Love 5. Grant Zezula: Perspection 6. Michael Andrews & Gary Jules: Mad World 7. Joy Division: Love Will Tear Us Apart 8. Funkadelic: Maggot Brain 9. Willard Grant Conspiracy: Dance With Me 10. Chiodos: No Hardcore Dancing In The Living Room I made it as fast as I could, and I don't have very much on my hard drive. And I tried to make it whimsical. Sort of. Maybe more depressive. :)

I had a pretty good playlist going when I was at work. Well, actually my iPod was on shuffle, but still. It was good. I hardly ever use playlists. I just kind of pick and choose whatever I feel like listening to at the moment. And at this moment, I'm listening to Beck. Yeahh. It made me think of you, so I thought I'd post here. I'm done (and so is the song).

Just play barking dogs singing Jingle Bells seven thousand times in a row.
