I've finished all my painting, I only have the hallway to do but that involves the stairs and I'm too scared to hang off stuff as I know being a totally clumsy person I'll fall over and hurt my head . I've also got way too many cd's so I I also have them piled in a corner but in bags not on the floor... need some cd towers, oh you don't need to be on facebook to look at the pics as it links to them directly, I use it to keep in touch with some people who live far away but I'm not a huge fan either. I've seen a lot of bands lately which is unusual for me, I love going to see bands live, I'm quite tired been a manic few months, so things should start calming down soon as I have more help now!, I'm going to be focusing more on my other job as that's the one I really enjoy, I'm saving up to do some more training, as it involves going to the US to do it ( that costs money) Glad you are ok :-)

So I'm munching my breakfast and then I'll be back painting again should finish it all tonight, I've been a dab hand at painting lately did another room quite recently.... maybe I should start a painting business...http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=147744&id=727183221&l=9c61dc7632 oh god no!!, so what have you been up to? I saw Gang of Four here in Leamington on Friday, their albums are good but the production is waek, but live... bloody hell they are outstanding!... I was well impressed, looking forward to seeing Peter Murphy next month, I am just handing over some work to a new girl at my job so that's good, going to see my sis and Dad at the end of October (they're in Scotland) first time been back since my Mum passed in 2007, tell me your news :-) hugs D x

Ahh that's better. Now that the obligatory intoductory stoning (try saying that without your teeth in!)is over and done with I feel so much better..don't you? See that link over there? I followed it and ended up in World of Cactus. I half expected to find oh-so slinky ladies casually reclining on huge cactus skins but instead found a lovely little page which made my poor eyes bleed with its colourfulness (old goths require warning before such frights y'know). It makes for a damn fine and very amusing read sir. Penny is quite the little cutie, she's like the normal cat sized version of my own rotund kitty. Oh and UK Subs are conspicuous by their absence (admittedly, I didn't trawl through the two thousand odd artists in your library) from your charts, don't you like them? They are one of my fave punk bands along with GBH..my other punk stuff is still gathering dust, along with my other vinyl, under my bed. I'll get them out one day, even if it's just to scan the runout groove etchings.

I agree very much on what you said about the difference between punk and punk rock.

Gotta say your 'About me' section is the best I've ever read. Humorous and so true, especially the bit about cassettes..not sorry to see the back of them one bit. I think I'll seek a touch of enlightenment on your homepage now... ...oh fuck. Very low musical compatability..better cross the street and throw stones at you then! :)

Sobre mim

Whining about this, moaning about that; my entirely pointless, contradictory, negative and meaningless views on life can be found here: World of Cactus. For life’s true explorers, bohemians and visionaries, (along with the rest of us who’re bored, stupid, drunk or lost), I provide a futile glimpse of true enlightenment and the chance to stare into the full horror that is the void of old age. It's a whole world of pain. Go on, you know you want to....

I learnt everything I need to know about life from watching Star Trek, reading Thomas Hardy and listening to punk music.

Live for music - gigs, CD, download, vinyl, cassette; (the latter for those that remember them and spending bloody hours and hours making mix tapes, which as soon as you'd finished you’d want to change something on because you'd stupidly included that really awful song you hate right in the middle of Side 1, but for some reason thought might be good to have on the tape to appease someone else’s dubious taste in music; they were such utter rubbish too, crap sound, but kids it's all we had in the 'Punk Wars' to carry our ammunition about on).

When you get too old to mosh (either physically or mentally) you're basically fucked and you may as well do everyone a favour, find the nearest open grave and throw yourself into it; and stay there. Actually, under the circumstances you might need a ladder to get down into it safely and a mate to shovel the dirt back in on top of you afterwards. I'm such a helpful, caring person I know; I care about the most disadvantaged, marginalised and downright stupid in our community; I can relate to them; oh shit, I am one.

Life sux a lot of the time.

The gift of MP3 was sent from heaven as God’s last attempt to save humanity from itself.
