Awesome :> I think it's great that they reach other countries, and I am longing for that movie. I am reading his fourth and latest book right now, I love his style.

Hah, yup ;) Wow, you're a big fan, huh? I read the book about a year before the movie came out, so I got a bit disappointed after watching the it, I think the book is superior to the movie, haha. Btw, is John Ajvide Lindqvist's other books translated into english?

Gauze is definitely a legendary Japanese band. They have been cranking out albums since the late 70's, and oddly enough they keep getting better over time, like a fine wine. Boredoms is a lot more experimental in nature, their old stuff is noise rock inspired and their newer stuff is pretty psychedelic.

Takeshi is definitely pretty killer bassist, although it sort of sucks that MCM music got dumbed down after 4 plugs. Seeing as you're also into Melt Banana and MCM, have you listened to Gauze or Boredoms?

I'm a fan of all their stuff as well, but their middle era was definitely my favorite. PARK, MIX-ISM, SPEAK, and Capsule Soup are all amazing. Over the summer I had a lot of fun with 4 Plugs as well. It has a lot of cheesy songs on it, but they're pretty fun. PARK is my all time favorite though, so many good choices!
