Hey,

I'd like to name a few great underground metal acts of various sub-genres, since it's pretty difficult nowadays to get attention, if you aren't hailing from some metal stronghold, such as Finland, Norway or Sweden.
Especially countries like Japan, Korea etc. often remain unnoticed by many metalheads and are not even taken serious.

I'm getting pissed off when I see people just talking about the metal that is in the media, such as In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Trivium, Children of Bodom and so on. There aren't many people that really know about the underground, although there are many bands that sound just as good as the big ones.

So please help those bands getting noticed and rewarded for their good jobs. Support them when they do a gig near your town, the prices are very low (usually 3€-10€) and the concerts are just as much fun. It just sucked when I was on a Born From Pain gig last time and the band was frustrated as fuck on stage, because the hall was almost empty.
Help foreign bands to get the attention they need, even if their discs aren't available in your country. They will become available as soon as there's demand for it. Download the music, spread the word and buy it as soon as it's available!
AND: There are good bands from any country, fuck the prejudices!
