I'm withholding judgement on JD until I get through a few more uninterrupted listens. I Break Mirrors is probably their most lackluster opener to date (I forgive them because literally every other album opener is 10/10) but On GP is pretty mind blowing, def my favorite off the album so far. Yeah Jake said he's down and buying his ticket today. So stoked!

Right there with you. My pre-order says it's shipping on the 31st........... but I wouldn't bet someone else's money on that shit. I have also informed Jake who is assessing his bank account and calendar and will get back to me. This is shaping up to be a fucking sweet show. Yeah I love the vocals/lyrics on When I Was Done Dying, cheerfully retelling his trip to the afterlife and..... becoming a fruit-bearing tree and being eaten and convening astral exploits haaha what a genius. Alright I'm buying that shit. I'll let you know what Jake says. Oh, and Jenny Death is supposed to be 45 mins long. Did you catch the tracks they dropped after Inanimate Sensation?

Yeah man, Shabazz is something else... so next-level, so fucking magical. Especially Lese Majesty but yeah like you said it's a grower for sure. Dude that's sweet as shit!!! And how freaking great is the new Dan Deacon??? My AOTYSF for sure, Father John Misty is a close second. I was on the fence about going to that show because I can't get anyone else to go, but if you're in I'll get my tix right now, and rage we shall. Also, I preordered The Powers That B last week, but they took the page down.... then updated the ship date to March 31. Jenny death is coming!!!

Dude they're so hilariously trolling everyone at this point. Fashion Week was dope though, there are some real gems there. Still not the same without Stephan. Have you checked out Young Fathers? They're in a similar vein but slightly more subdued. I've had 'Dead' on repeat all week

Bruh. Jenny Death very soon.... that song is a major trip though. That verse where his voice deepens gets me every time

David lupton, great artist. Match perfectly with the atmosphere of Bohren & der Club of Gore. Take a look at his work

Yeah that's true, I'm sure there's a lot of artists we disagree on but holy shit, it's like copy-paste-your-taste! Colorado will be sick, I'm very excited, and yeah not too burned about FlyLo since I just saw him at FYF too. Converge is great, but I've loved At The Gates since high school. All Swedish metal really. I'm kind of a recovering metalhead

I like how varied your taste is. A bit of hip-hop, some post-rock, metal and many more. Have you always liked such a wide variety? I myself have only been exploring for a few years, which is probably quite shameful at 27. I'm jealous that you're going to see American Football live. God damn you!

Hi, I come here to answer your question on Caetono Veloso's shoutbox. I think you should start with Araçá Azul because it's one of the most trippy albums he's ever realeased.

You seem to be pretty well-versed in the world of metal. I love band such as Cynic, Meshuggah, Tool and Opeth. Hacride, Soen, Animals As Leaders and Textures are also great bands in my opinion. Other great releases in different genres would be Global Communication's "76-14" (ambient), The Mars Volta - De-loused In The Comatorium, The Dillinger Escape Plan - Miss Machine (math/prog-metal), A Perfect Circle - Thirteenth Step (rock), Massive Attack - 100th Window (triphop), Moderat (selftitled) (IDM) and Younger Brother - The Last Days Of Gravity. If you wanna give Psychedelic Trance/Goatrance a shot let me know, it's my first love in music :)

Hey bro! In the realm of psychill you should check out Globular, Hibernation, Kaminanda, Desert Dwellers (Drumspyder too), Ott (his album Skylon is monumental), Zen Baboon,Astral Projection, Abakus. Also artists such as Entheogenic, Shulman, Koan, Hallucinogen, Ishq and Bluetech are pure awesomeness. Some of my favourite releases within the psychedelic spectrum would be the aforementioned Ott - Skylon, Aioaska - Into The Cosmic Jungle, Ekoplex - It's Alive! and everything by Desert Dwellers! ^_*
