I heard at least half of Geogaddi on The One Show just now - I can just imagine a `creative consultant' for the BBC running into a room shouting "Hey guys, listen to this!" and someone else going "Excellent, let's use 30 seconds from each of a few tracks on this segment about WWII!" and then they high-five.

Probably the most essential recommendation I Have is 'Soup' by Bola, which is a seminal album released around the same time as 'Music Has the Right to Children', and In terms of melodic electronica only MHTRTC is better. It's primarily beat-driven and the melodies can only be described as very, very lush. If it's BOC-esque stuff you're after, then 'Slow Lid Close' by Milieu is well worth checking out. It was released as a free download and you can get it from http://www.archive.org/details/exp011 - Milieu has released a LOT of excellent work, a good proportion of which was released for free online. Finally, every album Biosphere has ever released is worth getting. 'Cirque' and 'Dropsonde' are more beat-driven than a lot of his ambient work and are both absolutely brilliant albums. 'Substrata' is easily my favourite electronic album ever - it is almost completely beatless, but it is absolutely perfect.

Sobre mim

Shit, this is scary
What am I supposed to be doing?
Ive been stumbling blind
For the past few minutes

And now ive missed it
Creeping up behind me
And strangling me

Three strikes down the core...
