Hehe, I like you! I can't stand all that pig squeeling stuff either. It sounds fucking terrible, I never understood it. I'm not too keen on the black metal style of vocals either. I like my men to have balls, hahahaha! If people want to damage their ears with it let them, just get on with listening to the good stuff you like. I listen to all sorts that people don't seem to understand, like my love of Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Alphabeat mixed in with all my metal. Yeah when I was in a band, we went through a few drummers, before we called it a day. I was the vocalist in my second band. I'd love to start writing and performing again, I'm not overly confident on my skills now. I think I may end up buying equipment and doing it Trent Reznor style, see how music turns out and then look for the musicians. But your band sounds pretty tight, just need to get the vocalist in now. Where have you looked?

I have to say, I'm glad that the vocals can put you off a band too. There's a lot of bands I just cannot listen to, even if the music is good, just purely cause the vocals annoy me. Good example being the Smashing Pumpkins. Musically, I like them, as soon as Billy starts singing, I turn them off. Ah, I don't get to decide who we push on the label, but I've already made it clear that TS and SS are two bands I really want to push more. There are 3 of us looking after the team, and we all have very different tastes. Mine obviously being the best ;-) Hahaha! Oh, what kinda music you doing? It's usually the drummer that people can never find, not the vocalist.

I will have to check TesseracT out once this Passenger album has finished. I didn't know anything about them until the other day, and anything with links to In Flames, Soilwork or Opeth and I'M THERE!!! You don't smoke, good plan that! Save yer lungs!!! ;-) Yeah Subby I am very over protective of, they feel like my babies in some way since I've known about them for quite a while, and speak to both the vocalists. I always get previews of new tracks before everyone else, which is awesome I must admit! Ah if you're interested, the Nuclear Blast street team are about to restart up again, and we are looking for people to sign up. Would be good if there wasn't just me ranting on about TS. I think Sonic Syndicate need more of a push too. Both bands are awesome IMO, and I just don't think they've been pushed enough for people to latch onto... Yet!!!!

Oh, I just found out there's a new DevilDriver track up on Roadrunner's site http://www.roadrunnerrecords.co.uk/ I normally would avoid promoting Roadrunner, but it's DevilDriver :-P TesseracT? No I haven't heard them. I do however really like Sylosis for a bit of UK metal, and also got a mates band that I'm really into http://www.myspace.com/svsnband I'm all for British metal getting back on it's feet. I'd happily go out of my way to help out the bands I like, and I'd love to see a rise in good home grown metal!!! Yeah TS I'm very excited about. They already know at Nuclear Blast I will be trying my best to big them up, cause they're just THAT good imo! Yeah, it's not Fear Factory when there's no Raymond or Christian in the band. Fools!!!

I didn't know at first that Threat Signal had anything to do with Fear Factory at first, and when I listened to them I was sat thinking "he has some vocal parts that sound a bit like Burton". But yeah it's a sweet album! One of the best ones I've bought in recent years. I did used to buy a lot when I was working in HMV though. Got into quite a few new bands in the last few years, but most of them are European, and then most of those are Swedish. Yeah I've noticed there's a few coming up that I'm wanting. Really need new TS, which I think is in it's final stages now, Ghost Brigade have a new one in August I think they said, there's a new Katatonia and Killswitch Engage on the way too. I'm sure I read there was someone else, but I can't think who the heck it was now :-/ Hopefully they'll all do better stuff than my usual favourites, who all let me down with their last releases.

Well since you bum Threat Signal in the same way I do Opeth, I assume you've heard these http://www.myspace.com/arkaeamusic ? I'm well excited about that!!! First proper metal band I got into was Fear Factory, so I hold a special place for them! Ah, I'm wanting to do music promotions. Just got promoted (no pun intended) in Nuclear Blast with two other guys to Head Of Street Team UK, so hopefully that's a foot in the door, as me and the education system are e-e-e-e-enemies!

You should be listening to them right now ;-) I've been a huge fan for years now. And I will warn you, I do rant and rave about their greatness :-P I was meant to see them 4 times last year, but alas only made it to two. I will one day see them in Stockholm! Ah damn that's lame, where'd you work? I'm unemployed at the moment after 2 1/2 glorious years in HMV. It's hard work being a bum! :-P
