of GNAC and Late Night Moods

Gnac (a.k.a Mark Tranmer) has two new offerings, both of which I have picked up today.
The first Red Pages is a lovely collaboration between GNAC & Alessandra Celletti, and is a glorious piano journey through the starry, and at times, slightly creepy tunes that have made GNAC a firm, firm favourite of mine over the years.
The second album was released literally 2 minutes ago on iTunes and Amazon; Scoop Of Ice Cream Moon, and so far, I have only heard the previews of the tracks (which sounded lovely indeed).
I'm hoping I have found some mood music for my late night writings, and that I can find something on these to make the good shudders happen.
Was quite disappointed in Christ.'s new album Distance Lends Enchantment to the View. Not actually bad or anything, just really, really forgetable. Pretty gutted really, but will give it a few more listens before I put it on ice for a few years (and then probably decide I love it).
Still waiting for Our Valley to drop their album, which, if the samples on their site are anything to go by, will be exactly my kind of fuzzy, nostalgic electronica. There is also a new Boreal Network ep on the way (Phase With The Moon), which I am looking forwards to very much.
Did I mention that the last Jega album, Variance was really good?
No?
Well it is - though I prefer the darker, more twisted first disc to the crazier, Aphex-esque second one (though that one is aweseom too). Particular favourites are Soulflute and Sakura; quality murky goodness!
Anyway, the GNAC album has finished downloading, so it's time to have a little listen I think!
Night!
