and i can see what you mean about changing what you want from music. i used to listen to a lot of metal. almost exclusively. but then i think my mind changed and how i saw the world changed. i started to like music that reflected that more. i still love metal, though. nowadays, though, it's a choice select that stay in constant "rotation". it doesn't always elicit the same feelings as it once did.

haha, i guess you have your limits. or maybe you are trying to put that part of your life behind you... i'm sorry. i amuse myself in weird ways. yeah, i suppose i'm thinking of it in archaic terms. ownership is so limiting. it infringes upon your freedom. it's more of a fluid sense of control that switches between the one on the leash and the one holding the leash. it's really all a performance art project, right? i really have no idea what i'm talking about. i was trying to remind you that i have been waiting incessantly for you to finish your website. if i left you to your own devices, would it ever get done? i just don't know. i'm not really getting an angsty vibe from that, but you would know best. but i do quite like it. memorable, sticks in my mind. now you're just taunting me. telling me about all this art that you do, making me want to look at it and nod my head. i shouldn't have suggested that you eat shit. i always do that.

life is a tough owner on you. you don't eat your own poop, too, do you?? if you do, that's okay. i'm not going to judge you for it. that's your choice. so you're in art school? i can see that. i mean, that's your work in your avatar, right? that's my guess. what sort of art do you like to do? where can i see any of this art? i'm very sorry for your listening situation. that really sounds like a pain. i would be distraught. i would go crazy. i would probably end up eating my own shit or something like that. no, no. i'm sorry. i didn't mean anything by that. i really am okay with you eating your own feces, if you do. if you don't, then ignore all that. so do you hate a lot of what you used to listen to? i wonder how that happens.

this class is paying off! when i signed up for it, i was skeptical that i should pay so much money when i could just find out the information online. wait.. honestly, though, i do find that really interesting even though those tags are of no use to you nowadays. i did notice the limited amount of scrobbling done recently. do you lead a busy life outside of the internet?

aw, dang. i wanted to read a super clever response. i'm going to hold a grudge against you because you took that opportunity away from me. wait, people can lie on the internet?? perhaps you were lying about the clever response, too. maybe it was all a plan to ruin my day at whatever cost. couldn't you come up with something better than that? but it is pretty subtle... i'm confused on whether or not to respect your methods. at first i thought 58 days was oddly specific, but i found out it has been 59 days since i left that shout, so it makes sense. at least you eventually shouted back at me. i thought you were a goner! what is the significance of the "mggh" and "flfbn" tags?

Worth questioning, yes. I didn't say it wasn't worth questioning, I was referring to our particular discussion. Using "their" or "his" is a matter of style. In my opinion, both are incorrect. A sentence should be constructed differently, to use "one", "person", "his/her" or similar. Singular they is forced by extreme gender equalists and feminists. As I said, "they" is incorrect just as much as "his". I do want to hear your opinion, though. -- There always must be a reason. Maybe I just wanted to continue our conversation? Surely so. But what is the underlying drive? Being polite? Portraying myself as an interesting and/or intellectual person? Seeking attention? Comparing myself with others? A crave for company? Maybe none of those, maybe all of them. You decide. -- The means of acquiring knowledge don't change that knowledge. I don't have any prejudices towards anyone. First impression means nothing to me. I build the image of a person based on their deeds and words. ...

In some cases arguing over the correct word for a particular use, the meaning of words, when multiple could be correct, is pointless, not worth the time and energy invested into such a discussion and ultimately unfruitful. That's why I said that the language is ever changing and untameable. But I guess we've defeated ourselves this time. -- The reason I ask is of purely curios nature, there's no particular reason. Thank you for your willingness to answer.

I am aware of the use of singular "they", but I thought that masculine is the correct gender to use when it comes to indeterminate genders? [1][2] The language is ever changing, though, and I'm surely not the one who is willing or can stop that. In this case, semantics are not worth it. Anyway, I am curios, did you study philosophy formally? [1] they - definition of they by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia. I hope I see George Clooney there! Sleep well then! Or not, if you don't want to. I'm not demanding anything. It would probably be ideal, though.

I should make sure I have something outside to break my fall. Maybe coffee tables that couldn't fit inside.

Moving the coffee table would be admitting weakness. To prove to myself and the paramedics that I am indeed strong, I will move everything around the doorway. I may be at a disadvantage since the door may not actually open up enough, but that is why there are also windows.

I'm just glad it isn't a chain reaction from tripping over my feet into a closed door and back onto a coffee table.

I try to be observant! It doesn't always work out. But once I've recovered from running into something, I'm ready to try again.
