Remember, the Anvil was Forged In....FFFFFFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEE I seem to vary in extremes for Thrash, I like the technical/progressive end (Voivod, Mekong, etc) and the really aggressive stuff (Morbid Saint, Sodom, Kreator, etc). I don't care for Crossover (except for Carnivore) and I don't care for mid-tempo Thrash largely. As you can tell from my charts, I really like The Lord Weird Slough Feg and Manilla Road. Those two bands are amazing and are far removed from cliche ridden power metal. Have you heard of Legend? They're an american band who did one album (From the Fjords) in the late 70s which was really ahead of its time (Viking themes), amazing vocals and guitar playing. That's all I can think off of the top of my head. I can't wait to see Cynic tonight \m/

I honestly think that's the only one worth while. After that they became a glam/cheese metal band. I heard that their 2002 release is abit better, yet the one they just released sucked.

Yeah, I definitely like "Think This", and I'll check out Death Angel ASAP. It's too band you didn't like Leviathan. I thought their riff-work was pretty great, but I agree their sound is somewhat generic. Blame it on personal preference, I suppose.
