I just realized how much I loooooooove bass. I love it's steadiness and redundancy and it's deepness. It's like the most reliable instrument, I think. It's like the heart of the song.
When I hear a really good bassline, I feel like it takes over my heart and my heart is beating to the beat on the bass. I love when that happens.
I used to disregard the bass as just this dull, barely audible unnecessary instrument. After all, the White Stripes don't have a bassist and their music sounds fine.
Gosh, how wrong I was to dismiss the bass like that.
Now I kinda wish I had chosen to learn bass instead of guitar. But whatever youknow, I love me guitar too. Maybe I'll learn bass in the futures.
