Holy fucking shit, I didn't even know a new Ocean record came out. That song alone was badass as fuck, so I'll definitely have to check out Pelagial. I've always loved me some oceanic German Metal of the Atheist persuasion.

Yeah small venues have that special feel. I definitely got that when I saw the likes of BTBAM, Periphery, Jeff Loomis etc at smaller shows.

Yeah it's like the home of commercial metal. I guess Sonisphere is slightly better, but I'd say Bloodstock is easily the best for the UK. I've heard Wacken and Summer Slaughter are pretty good.

Coolios. My exams start in May. Then freedom and eventual disappointment at Download Festival. I might as well go Bloodstock instead.

Breakcore! I'll try to cover a good range of styles. 'Liminal Space' by Xanopticon is my favourite breakcore album and one of my favourite electronic albums of all time. Xanopticon's style is pretty abstract and glitchy compared to most breakcore, but I love it. For something more break-heavy and 'bumpable', check out 'Run War' by Enduser, and for some super dark and heavy shit go for 'Doll Doll Doll' by Venetian Snares. Finally, for some sickly sweet obnoxiousness, check out 'My Love Feels All Wrong' by goreshit. Happy hunting!

I'd love to recommend you There's a Riot Goin' On by Sly & the Family Stone. Actually I like very much this funky style, so maybe you would too.

Breakcore? Start with Rossz csillag alatt született by Venetian Snares and Even Weight by Enduser. Perfect start into an amazing genre.

you do more than I normally do. the unfortunate fact of life is that I am super lazy. recently I have been doing ok and I actually have been feeling a lot better than before, which is great. real life has been getting in the way more and I haven't had a lot of time to do much of anything on the computer.

Sobre mim

Welcome, visitor!
Lol white font

How do we cope with failure? We divide it in small doses, separated by coffee breaks, perusal of newspapers, or reading email. As good Popperians, we also rationalize it as achievement: "Now we have finally learnt that it doesn't work, an important advance!"

"im bored and this sucks." Jesus said bluntly.
- Taken from this story.

Crappy pop music makes people that don't listen to it feel better about themselves.

Music is not my life, it's the spice.
The KKK proudly presents: more white font.

What I like in music:
- new ideas
- energy
- experiments
- concepts
- individuality

What I hate in music:
- rip-offs
- uninspired artists
- commercialisation
- sexploitation
- wannabes

An die Nachtgeborenen:
Wirklich,

Die Jahresringe nach;

Wandle ich doch in den kindlichen Blumenspielen der Hungerpoeten;

Doch wer will dem Sturm Maß verschreiben?

Und ich trug die Sprache bei mir;

~ Rome - The Night-Born

This here is a hidden message to remind you that you probably have got some work to do and shouldn't be browsing on the internet.

Most people like music because it gives them certain emotions such as joy, grief, sadness, and image of nature, a subject for daydreams or – still better – oblivion from “everyday life”. They want a drug – dope - [...] Music would not be worth much if it were reduced to such an end. When people have learned to love music for itself, when they listen with other ears, their enjoyment will be of a far higher and more potent order, and they will be able to judge it on a higher plane and realise its intrinsic value. [...] I consider that music is, by its very nature, essentially powerless to express anything at all, whether a feeling, an attitude of mind, or psychological mood, a phenomenon of nature, etc [...] Expression has never been an inherent property of music. That is by no means the purpose of its existence. [...] For the phenomenon of music is nothing other than a phenomenon of speculation [...] The elements at which this speculation necessarily aims are those of sound and time [...] consequently music is a chronologic art [...] All music is nothing more than a succession of impulses that converge toward a definite point of repose. [...] my freedom thus consists in my moving about within the narrow frame that I have assigned myself for each of my undertakings. [...] I shall go even further: my freedom will be so much the greater and more meaningful the more narrowly I limit my field of action and the more I surround myself with obstacle. [...] The more constraints one imposes, the more one frees one s self of the chains that shackle the spirit.
- Igor Stravinsky

i choose not to believe that artists are able to sky rocket on charts simply based on the idea of them being attractive. paris hilton, victoria beckham, and heidi montag all have based their entire career on the idea of sex and have had flopping careers musically. there are so many sex driven artists that don't rise in the charts, but have music videos that hit millions upon millions of views on youtube. it's not my fault if the general public prefers listening to pop music than dark metal. sure, they don't want "challenging" music but seriously.. who cares? i don't want to sit here trying to solve a puzzle out of song lyrics. i just want to listen to good music. up all night is a good album, with good music. i don't know who you think you are coming for me for not knowing talent when you listen to metal. what's so challenging, and interesting about grease monkeys screaming into a microphone?

jazz is basically watered down classical, but for fans who want a genre that sounds conceptual and sophisticated

This white space is completely useless.

It took me a very long time to figure out why music was so important in my life and why I was making it. I didn’t prioritize that question, and I wish someone had told me to explore my reasons. Musicians must not think there is a single path, role, method, or expertise. Let yourself be yourself, don’t try and live up to the expectations that have been implanted in you. Fight the media in you head. Fuck the comparative norm.
- JP Anderson

"Suzy?"
"Yes?"
"Suzy Creamcheese?"
"Yes?"
"This is the voice of your conscience baby ... uh, I just want to check one thing out with you ... you don't mind, do ya?"
"What?"
"Suzy Creamcheese, honey, what's got into ya?"

I wonder if anyone reads these hidden messages.

The protean nature of the computer is such that it can act like a machine or like a language to be shaped and exploited. It is a medium that can dynamically simulate the details of any other medium, including media that cannot exist physically. It is not a tool, although it can act like many tools. It is the first metamedium, and as such it has degrees of freedom for representation and expression never before encountered and as yet barely investigated. Even more important, it is fun, and therefore intrinsically worth doing.
