Ahh, The Duhks were great. Nice folk music, and it reminded me of that band "The Cowboy Junkies" that you recommended. As for Glen Campbell, I really thought he put on a good show, and was really friendly to the crowd. I was impressed :-) He played the William Tell Overture over his head (oh, not all of it, just some)!! I'll never forget that, lol. I shook his hand too. He was great!!

Sobre mim
So, what does "PowellNow" mean? It comes from one of my favorite statements, "Powell Now, Work Later!". So, what is Powell? It is my favorite place on earth; Lake Powell, Utah, I love it for its unique and breathtaking beauty, and for the time I spend there each year in isolation with my family.
Imagine one of the most remote and desolate areas in the United States, a vast and colorful desert, with the second-largest man-made reservoir in the country. A literal oasis in the American southwest, providing water and power to most of the west's growing population. Imagine more coastline than all of California, 2000 miles of it, surrounding this body of water. Now, imagine 200 narrow canyons branching out in every direction, all of them twisting like mazes into the dry desert mesas. Lastly, imagine dramatic cliff walls rising up to 2000 feet from the water. This is Lake Powell. Some call it "A Great Lake in a Grand Canyon".
This is where my family spends time together a couple of weeks every summer. We take our boat about an hour by water from the marina into a remote canyon, set up a primitive camp and stay there about 8-10 days at a time. We live, play, sleep, eat and relax outdoors 100% of the time, beside the water and beneath the cliffs, under the searing heat of the day and the clear skies at night. We try to time our trips to coincide with the full moon.
Other things about me? One, the music is obvious. So, here are some other facts:
