Since you'll be having your 9th-lastfm-anniversary in 2 days, here a small present: here's your wavegraph (showing your top100 artists over nearly 9 years). I can see about 4-5 phases in your history where your artists shifted. What do you think about the graph? Any feedback (in group Musicology) is appreciated.

Hello Anthony, I saw you as listener of Esteban Ramirez. Thus, I want to recommend you my compositions also. Reason being: Esteban Ramirez is reverse-similar (1) to my artist. Background info about my research here + in the EYRS group. (1) meaning: they appear in each other's "similar artists"-pages

Yeah, I remember how it was when I started working full time. I would get home and just listen to music or keep busy with low-energy projects. It seemed like all I had the strength to do was just recover from the built up stress. There is a season for all things, though. Once I learned how to deal with the amount of work, and once God started showing me opportunities to be a light to those I was working with in a way that came naturally to me, I found my zest for life started increasing again- joy where I least expected it. It comes and goes, of course; but it's all dependent on how our relationship is doing. Of course, it also helped that God has put it on peoples' hearts to keep me in prayer, including my pastor. I will keep praying that God would help you find rest, that the hurts you've experienced will heal (and hopefully reconciled relationships, too), and that you will find people in your life you can trust who will support you faithfully in life and in prayer.

....and so I've brought a lot of deeply rooted issues in my life to the surface, and am finally learning to believe (all over again) in God's ability to transform me out of a lot of different lies- about who I am, my real motivations, false guilt and feelings of inferiority to others. I am already seeing change, and have made a couple of new friends, too, who are becoming great mentors to me as I continue to patiently learn and grow, instead of trying to rush to my prideful idea of "perfection" or trying to get where I think I should be :). I hope you are feeling better recently- hopefully your troubles have given way to deeper hope in Christ. I always have appreciated your attitude of hope in all circumstances, Anthony- even when you have fallen on hard times. So, what's this job? Do you find it fulfilling? Oh, yeah, and I totally understand if you don't get back to me for ages- we are virtual pen pals with jobs, after all! Take care, and God bless!

Good to hear you're working! And yes, the world of the internet really can take a back seat once your time is filled up, but it can be a good sign that you're using your free time to spend with God or important people in your life. I have a chance to do so this week, because I'm actually on the first holiday I've had in almost 2 years right now, but I'm trying not to spend too much time looking for music. I try to let it find its way to me, which has been interesting- God has been speaking to me a lot in that way. To sum up the past year- I might have told you before that every year, I try to have a core principle to focus my thoughts on. This year, I felt that God was calling me to focus my growth on the principle of Truth, building on 2013's Trust and 2012's Courage . This has led me to trusting a lot of people who have spoken truth into my life like never before- and have helped me learn that my fear has kept me more bound to lies than I was ever willing to admit.... cont'd

Hello again, my friend! It's been a while. I came across this website recently, and you were the first person that came to mind- http://www.christianmusicarchive.com/ - if you haven't already discovered it (I never know with you, you're even more intensive in your research than I am!). Their facebook page is great, too. They have a whole bunch of Christian albums (well known and obscure) listed by year. I hope all has been well since I last heard from you :)

hey thanks for the greeting. yes i do like bryyan duncan and had the pleasure of attending his concert at grace baptist church in calgary, which was superlative. i also really enjoy the newsboys, especially their recent greatest hits. there is a really great whole concert of the newsboys on you tube that yu might like - one of the best concerts i have EVER seen. also i hope you check out my music under chanan lesli mattison and the story of each song on "blonde on blue!" i'm going to enjoy your charts. i like charting too , though i'm not as much of an expert in the christian category. also i am not fond of rap, just about the only music i don't like! see ya!

You totally should! As far as how I got into playing piano, my parents put me in piano lessons when I was six and I ended up taking piano lessons for about 10 years. My favorite solo piano composers are probably David Nevue, Gary Girouard, Brad Jacobsen, Thad Fiscella, and there are probably a few others I haven't thought of. you might enjoy listening to an interview I did just last week, here on my website: http://zacharybrunomusic.com/press :)

Bad for not being responsible and replying to you. Yes, I get both through a site biblestudytool.com Nothing to worry about. I might also say it is a testament to the depth of your faith, not shallow like most. That is huge. She should give you something, you have to be one of her biggest fan.

Yep, got your email and have part of a reply written. lol I am so bad. That is cool the holidays are just around the corner. I got that verse in Hosea via email. I liked hearing about its meaning to you. God knew just how to compose the Book that covers all that we need.

Thanks, Antony. That all sounds REALLY GOOD. I am happy for you. I want you to know there is absolutely no need for you to rush, especially because neither one of us seems to be facing serious trials. May you enjoy your weekend as well and may God grant you only more blessings. "So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, Like the spring rain watering the earth." - Hosea 6:3

Sobre mim

Hi, everyone, and welcome to my page! I enjoy lots of Christian music, as you might guess from my charts. My tastes in Christian music are diverse, however--I love pop, CHR, adult contemporary, rock; some Celtic, alternative, and gospel; and a little rap, alternative, indie, Southern gospel, and country. Basically, I'm willing to give anything a try, as long as its lyrics are audible--for me, that excludes most hard core rock/metal.

Now, a lot of other music I love has no lyrics--instrumental / new age (especially piano-based). Aside from that, I also like some non-Christian pop, lite rock, and adult contemporary from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and the present, songs that capture moments of profound human emotion and living, or that otherwise move me and/or make me think, or even relate to me somehow.

Well, I hope you enjoy visiting my profile page--thanks and God bless! Be sure to check out my weekly top 50 favorite songs sometime, haha. Yeah, I'm a real chart junkie--I've been keeping track of my favorite songs for over a decade now, or half my life so far :P
