Herein lies a simple and relatively predictable shitfest of a list, composed of my top 75 favorite black metal albums. This was originally going to consist of 100 albums, but I decided that 100 albums was simply too much for such a sad excuse for a list. This is probably my third time to cover this subject matter after about 3 years on last.fm, but I don't care. I have time to kill, and, if you're actually reading this, then so do you.

Hello, I've been working on new material over the past few months, and I've finally released some of this material with the Intermittence EP.1 release. I chose to cut this list at 100, even though I was originally going to make this simply an "albums of 2008" list and include all the albums I've listened to from the year thus far. Last.fm… things were going pretty well for you before this supposedly new-and-improved version was introduced. The overall design of the site was simple and easy to use, there were relatively few glitches to speak of, and, while the previous version wasn't as aesthetically attractive as it could have been, it had a very good balance between function and looks.
