Truly a shame since KC has some neat album covers.

tfw Fripp-kun doesn't allow his album covers to be displayed on LastFM.

Alot of people on mu I feel are more independent and might just use it as one source of many or are just ironicly shitposting about it. But there are some genuine tools and followers on there that might just get their music from one place such as the mucore and P4K. Which is obviously bad.

Yeah P4K is terrible and they delete reviews all the time. I remember there being an archive for the deleted ones but I can't remember where it is but there was some super embarrassing shit there. But all their reviews are basicly half yuppie blogs and half reviews. I can't stand it. No wonder people just look at the random ass score they give out. And I prefer to wait for the hype to cool down too so my experience of the album isn't distorted though it leaves me out of quite a few conversations to say the least.

Yeah Bitchfork gave them a 8.2 or something so there was some buzz. And since it had such a mixed reaction overall I figured it would be interesting. Guess the joke's on me because it was just uninteresting shit. Unless you find tremolo picking for an hour to be interesting. But hard times build character I suppose.

It's been quite an economic roller-coaster and I almost lost my appartment. But I didn't and things are going fine now. And I made one of these RYM's that the kids are talking about. But even worse than almost losing my appartment and going hungry for days, I listened to Liturgy - Aesthethica and it was literally the worst thing I've ever listened to. Truly awful stuff.

Not too hard, I just hate spending too much money on shit. I can't find it for much less than 25 USD, which is a bit high for a student on a server's salary. I might have to torrent it.

Thanks for the recs dude. My philosophy is if its out there, won't kill me, and people like it, I'll try it. I'm trying to get a hold of Dr. Mabuse currently. I'm greatly looking forward to it.

Maaan, I always tried to watch this movie but I never found a good torrent and subtitles for it (my English sucks, hahaha). It seems to be a cool movie and I really enjoyed the trailer, especially the use of colors, part of the soundtrack and this poster.

Try Sake at least once. Its dry, but its damn good. Yeah, my assistant manager at work is way into anime and he keeps trying to get me into it. He showed me some lip from something and I thought it was trying to be ironic and satirical, but apparently that's just how it is. I really appreciate Buddhism, something about that particular philosophy has always appealed to me. I don't know if I believe everything, but it certainly fits with my world view.

I'm way into eastern religion, so the whole zen aspect appeals to me. I also love sushi and sake, so they have that going for them too. I've never much been one for anime or anything. Just kind sketch for me. Maybe its just the neurotic Jew in me.

That sounds really interesting. Japan has always fascinated me, not in a weeaboo way but more in a creepy way. I'll check them out though. Thanks dude.

I've been terribly Amero-centric in my film taste. What would you recommend of his?

More just general theories about the movie with a couple conspiracies thrown in. Its very good.

Not really, I've been working a lot and its been cutting into my film time. I watched the Shining on Halloween. Have you ever seen the Documentary about it it Room 237? If not, I highly recommend it.

Yeah, a little bit. I don't know too much the pre-90s (or classic) surrealism movement, honestly. I'm more into the 00s movies who mixes surrealist elements on a "real world environment". That's where guys like Lynch, Noé, Refn and Von Trier hits so deep in me. All their movies have such a lovely decryption of heaven and hell everywhere, especially on "Only God Forgives" and "INLAND EMPIRE" (which I consider the best movie I ever seen).
