Hey! I don't know if you remember me, we exchanged music for a while a couple of years ago. Seems like you end up really liking Godflesh. That's great! greetings

No problem! Well, I would like to recommend the following bands: Noumena, Fractal Gates, Nahemah, A Dream of Poe*, Atoma*, Slumber* and Sabaoth (this one´s gothic black metal, very rare, you can download the discography by torrent here: P.D.: The bands marked with "*"only have 1 album :(

First of all, thanks for accepting mu friend request ;) As to my music taste, it changes over time so you can see in my library some bands that I used to listen to but now I don't like, like Epica or Kamelot or Delain - all that symphonic metal stuff. I really liked those bands like 3 or 4 years ago but now I prefer different music and you can see it in my top artists of last 12 months ;) Well, I really don't know what I could recommend you to listen as I can see that we've got very similar libraries. But since you like progressive rock I'd suggest trying Riverside - they're really good and I didn't notice this band in your library ;) I've been into classic rock and post-punk recently and found some awesome bands like The Cure or Joy Division or Led Zeppelin and I can recommend them too ;)

Hello ! I saw your profile in my neighbours but I added you because there are some bands in your charts that I very much enjoy (like NIN, Agalloch, Blut aus Nord) but also some that I don't know so I hoped to broaden my horizons a little more :) I think, based on what you listen to, you'd like Have a Nice Life, Coil or Throbbing Gristle.

Hello Last.FM friend! I've relaunched my music blog so I thought I'd rudely spam all my contacts on here. I'd appreciate a click if you have a minute, and feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well, thanks to you I've got to know there's a new album. ^_^ I actually prefer the 1st album too. The new one has a few good tracks, but the rest isn't that gripping. Yep, it usually is, even in winter, but we do have our share of tropical storms during summer. I'd love some snow. :P

Wait, Arctic Plateau have a new album entitled "The Enemy Inside"?! I didn't know that! I only have the album A Sad Sunny Day, and the split with Alcest. I'm being spoilt this start of the year with the new albums from Alcest, and Les Discrets! Well, I'm a fan of different kinds of tempos, and genres within metal. So I'm open to everything (except for the "cores" like deathcore, emocore etc..). There's a tropical cyclone approaching my country atm. Loving the weather, gonna try the new Arctic Plateau in this atmosphere. :P

Hello! Added you because I need to explore your library. =P I'm finding it hard to give recommendations, because you've tried most stuff I've tried. Maybe try Arctic Plateau. :)

Oh I misunderstood you there. Anyways you seem to have gone through the album now. Hope you liked it.

I like how you think, the beautiful and the ugly. The different facets of life. I too look for that but I take a different path, the way of the lyrics or the feel of the song in case of an instrumental. For example, one would be Alcest's Tir Nan Og and its opposite would be Agalloch's A Desolation Song. One full of hope, other devoid of any. But then, thats what I seek in my music, different approach for everyone. =) As for me enjoying winter inspiring music in warm weather, it might have to do something with the grass being greener on the other side. At the same time, I'd say I'd enjoy it even more in proper winter landscapes. During the winter months here (nowhere as cold as in your place) I used to play Agalloch every morning when I woke up (and the outside was filled with fog, usually). Felt refreshing and pretty special. :-) Ah sorry, forgot to check your library for that album. Glad you've already listened to it. :-)
