That Black Dice track is crazy. I'd probably have to listen to it some more to really dig it, very 'left-field'. How'd you find that? I've seen internet rumblings about XXYYXX but never paid no thought of listening yet. Great track though, chilled out! if you liked that, check out the dude Shlohmo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqgF0YmpegY

I've got a job lined up at the moment actually, going back to what I did before I enrolled on my college course. It's fallen apart academically speaking with the music but I've been somewhat lucky to jump straight back into what I was doing beforehand, which I spose' is a touch in all fairness. I can focus my spare time honing the music whilst still earning a living (better than I am now) on the day job, so it's not a complete disaster I guess! Do you think you'll find it hard looking for a job you'd LIKE to be able to do then at this stage? I mean, you're pretty much set up to further yourself in something you'd enjoy now.

It's a Music Tech btec course. The only other option is a performance based course where you focus on band work, writing music and performing, plus industry knowledge and so forth. I'm learning the bass at the moment but you have to be of a certain 'level', to be able to perform with other musicians and by yourself. I'm no musician, not yet for that fact hahaa. So I'm at another dead end. Gotta put in the time and plod away, keep the music as a hobbie for the time being and I spose' i'll revisit sometime in the near future when I'm atleast capable to do a few more things. Ohwell. Thanks for the info though, appreciate the thought kind sir.

Sounds interesting mate! Computer Science, what sort of jobs does that sort of thing lead to? Goodluck in advance, hopefully it works out the way you want it too. Maan, my college cut my course after 2 years and I need the third year to be able to get into Uni. Nowhere else does the course I'm on other than a private institute which is nigh on 18,000 a year :/ Just sorting out my options now really, giving things a hard look you know? Ohbliv is similar to Knx except he samples more funk elements. It's great having the combo of Knx/Ohbliv so I'll send you a few things, check your inbox.

No probs, how the course going? Mad Men will probably be my next thing to watch, having finished Breaking Bad. Musashi, oop, I meant Vagabond, which is actually a comic based on Musashi, my bad! Musashi was a famous Samurai in Japan and there's a book about his life and now a comic adaptation. Phenomenal artwork coupled with a classic story line from the og novel. Have you listened to many of Ohbliv's tapes btw?

I've seen plenty of talk about Mad Men but haven't given much thought of watching yet though. Any good reads you've been on lately? I finished The Preacher series late last year and that was an amazing little series. Still going through Musashi (not sure if I've talked to you about that before?). Straying away from comics, i'm going to attempt the Game of Thrones books soon. I'm of the opinion that reading books before watching the tv series is the way to go so.. ( ._.)

I'm watching it on Netflix via my xbox. I don't think they've even aired it in the UK yet which is crazy considering it's a big hit US drama.

Yeah, I wish Dusty Groove (or somebody over there in UK that actually cares) would license some of those albums for reissue. Even though I have them all, I'd still like to see that stuff get as much attention as his Capitol stuff. Who knows? Messiah and the Auction have received vinyl reissues. I guess anything's possible.
