2 часа погружения в атмосферу отрешенности и безысходности. Это был один из лучших концертов уходящего года. Все ожидания оправдались полностью, шведы выступили великолепно. Были эпично сыграны любимые Dark City Dead Man, Dim, Finland, Leave Me Here, Ghost Trail и не только. Waiting For You, Further, Back To Chapel Town и And With Her Came The Birds не хватило для идеального сет-листа. Но я и без того в трансе и надолго. Против Made In China ничего не имею, но в кач-ве разогрева они для CoL как-то неочень подходят. Да итак наверно всем ясно, что с такими группами разогрев совсем ни к чему. XO оказался не таким ужасным, как некоторые его малевали; к звуку просто не придраться. Про внешние раздражители вроде быдла у сцены писать не буду, они того не стоят. Про эмоции тоже писать много не хочется, пусть они останутся со мной. Но эти почти два часа - время, которое было просто не лень проживать.

Главным музыкальным событием сего года лично для меня стал не приезд Isis, как думалось сначала, и даже не предстоящий концерт Meshuggah в октябре, а выступление Porcupine Tree, самой любимой группы. Да больше, чем просто любимой. До сих пор не могу поверить, что они не сыграли Russia On Ice. Но, вообще, сет-лист не стал неожиданностью для тех, кто в курсе что они исполняли на своих недавних выступлениях. Это первое шоу Porcupine Tree в России, но Уилсон пообещал, что они приедут еще и не раз. Конечно, так многие говорят, но ему почему-то хочется верить. Сэт-лист дико порадовал - Open Car, Anesthetize, Way Out Of Here, Lazarus, What Happens Now?, Dark Matter, Mother And Child Divided, Halo, Hatesong,.. ну Trains само собой.. и... A Smart Kid, самая любимая и долгожданная. Опять же жаль, что не было Arriving Somewhere But Not Here, Start Of Something Beautiful, Shesmovedon, Normal, Radioactive Toy, Waiting Phase One, Stars Die,.. что ж, в другой раз, возможно. Мои молитвы были услышаны - не было "разогрева" в виде ужасных, слащаво-нео-проговых Apple Pie. Но концерт нехило задержали. Нервы были на пределе. Само выступление и описывать не стоит, все было шедеврально, идеально (Правда, звук подвел немного, но это вина не PT, а организаторов, которые к тому же инструменты настраивали прямо во время концерта. Можно это было бы сделать и до него). Хотя, нашлись и те, кому выступление не понравилось. Но недовольные всегда находятся. Видимо, они просто не знали на какой концерт шли. Энергетики было просто море, не знаю, как некоторые умудрились ее не почувствовать, Стивен - сама харизма, отрывался, как и на всех концертах. Да и видно было, что все остальные участники уходили полностью в Музыку. А видеоинсталяции Лэсса Хойла были очень в тему и создавали нужную атмосферу. Были некоторые минусы, но это неважно. Плюсов не счесть. Время, проведенное там, бесценно. Приедут еще - пойду обязательно.
