Thanks for the link, I really like them. They really do sound like The Bats from time to time, and the rest of the time they sound awesome too, thanks for the recommendation.

I shouldn't have laughed about that, but yikes, probably not the best setting to see them play in. Though it's cool they played some Law of Things. By the way, I just saw we aren't friends on last.fm and I'm curious now as to how you found me.

Did they play any oldies? Ok, I'll check it out, I don't think I've ever heard them.

Hey! How were they? I haven't even come about to listening to their new album yet, how is that, too? I'm doing well, thanks, how about you? Honestly doubted anybody would miss my tumbls, oops.

Yeah, although apparently they cost a few hundred bucks with the suit. It's a total scam but what else are you gonna wear to graduation? I just hope I don't lose mine when it's time to throw it in the air

I go to school in Montreal, Canada. Graduation is coming up though, so who knows what's next. What's your life story in a sentence or two?

Yeah, really was an insight into another world. They never show you having soggy shoes the next day at work in music videos with rooftop pool parties though.

Yeah, it's completely heartbreaking about Trish Keenan. An utter tragedy. Can't believe it was only last month I was seeing them play and then this happens. :( Did you make it to one of those gigs? Also, hit me back with some Sydney bands or whatever that I might not know/are good.

Ahh so many rad bands! But I will throw a couple names at you of a few favourites. You might know some of these already, so don't be offended if some of these suggestions seem really obvious haha: Crayon Fields, The Lucksmiths, Super Wild Horses, Mum Smokes, My Disco, HTRK, Seagull, Touch Typist, Panel of Judges, The Twerps. This guy A. Wallace makes amazing, weird lo-fi folk music, which you can download from his blog here: http://bigbusinessventures.blogspot.com/ I highly recommend checking out 'Dark Hallways & Other Ghost Songs' and the Sunshine & Grease Split. Probs one of the best things I discovered last year. Oscar + Martin (formerly Psuche), check this: http://vimeo.com/17180251 Jonny Telafone, you should download his "Wherever the Wind Blows" tape for free here: http://www.dreamdamage.com/category/jonny-telafone/ Also Rowland S. Howard (RIP) is a goddamn legend, his two solo albums Teenage Snuff Film and Pop Crimes are essential. Sorry if this is information overload! :P

Yeah, anyone who covers Michael Hurley gets automatic bonus points in my book! I see you're listening to Angel Olsen also, I just discovered her recently and was really blown away. Kinda bummed that all her cassetes have sold out already! Did you get a hold of a copy? This is so nice: http://vimeo.com/13511912

Hey, saw your Matthew Young recommendation when randomly browsing the Arthur Russell wall and checked him out...so fucking good! Traveler's Advisory is insane. And the hammer dulcimer...what a killer instrument, wish more people played it.
