I'm really liking the new Krallice album. My main complaint with their debut was the production but this new one is really meaty, gives the riffs real weight. I love the shoegazey/drone wall of noise bits too, especially on 'untitled'. Had to frantically turn down the volume for the end of 'Monolith Of Possession' too. I've finally followed up on your recommendation of Brown Jenkins and pre-ordered the new album too, should be getting that next week. I really liked the preview tracks that were up a few months ago.

I thought the Pyramids with Nadja album was out today too, but the page on Amazon seems to suggest that they don't have it in stock, and there's nothing on Play or Boomkat. Anyway, I've given into temptation and downloaded it, although I definitely want to get a physical copy because on the basis of the first few listens it's completely sublime.

I'm really glad you enjoyed the mixtape, it was a lot of fun putting it together. That OM track is my favourite of theirs, and just one of my favourite songs outright. I will be a very happy man if they play it live on the 14th, though I know there's not much chance of that. The Eagle Twin album is one of my favourites of this year too, Gentry Densley is a pretty incredible guitarist, and the sludgey guitar tone on there is perfect. Where did you get the Nadja and Pyramids album? I had a look for it in Fopp this afternoon, but couldn't find it. No UK based online stores seem to have it either, and I can't find any information about a UK release date for it. From what I've heard of it streamed off various sites it's very good indeed. Added Krallice's new one to my emusic list for next week too.
