(read the other message first) Languages are all I love, and I can't stop studying them. I'm fluent in Japanese, English, Chinese and I can speak Dutch and French to some extent, among others. I'm currently studying Irish and Danish! :) How about you? Are you also a student? And let's keep in contact for sure! I'm pleased to get to know you. :)

Dia dhuit, a chara. I hope you're feeling better today. I studied a little bit of Irish grammar yesterday, and being in contact with you is being more than encouraging to me. Thanks for that! :) So you have an uncle in São Paulo! Does he live in the capital, or somewhere in the state? I live 200km far away from São Paulo city, right close to Campinas, if you have ever heard of it. Where in Italy do you live? I know a guy from Bari, and I used to have a teacher from Rome! :) I'm a university student. I'll major in business administration as from this August, but I'll also take German classes and I'm considering taking some Italian classes as well. :) I'll have to move down South then, and I'm really looking forward to it. Your uncle must know my new city, Florianópolis. It's a famous destination for vacation. :) (to be continued)

Lá maith a chara. Tá tu go maith inniu? I'm both Brazilian and Portuguese, but the country I'm in love with is Ireland. :D The first Celtic culture to trigger my interest was the Scottish one, but then I got to know more about Ireland and I totally fell in love with it. I was supposed to start studying Irish some years ago, but I've just started it this year, as I got more free time to use on it. Italian is also on my to-learn list, by the way! :D There are LOTS of Italians here, and we even have an Italian dialect in the Southern part of our country. Your English is terrifically good, by the way. How long have you learned it? I'm impressed, seriously. I'll take a look at your page and look for Irish-speaking singers, if you don't mind. :) I know Altan, but I've only listened to one some of theirs. I'll try and look for more stuff! Go raibh maith agat as do theachtaireacht! Bail ó Dhia ort! :)

Dia dhuit, a chara! Táim go maith, go raibh maith agat! Thanks for the reply :) I started getting interested in Celtic languages by listening to Capercaillie, and then I discovered a few other bands and groups, including Kíla, which is one of my favourite ones. The rest of my Irish songs is mostly instrumental, and I'd like to find some artists that sing in Irish. I'm always listening to my songs directly on the radio, though, so they don't show up on my page, which is a shame. hahaha I have an Irish friend who's helping me out with it, and I'm glad that I've learned a lot through him. I'm a beginner, though, so I don't think my Irish is good enough to have long conversations, but I'll improve it soon, you'll see! ;) Are you originally Italian, or are you from Ireland yourself? :)

That's alright :) This is very interesting though, where did you first listen to Irish music at 8 years old? I do understand the feeling of feeling at home too because I feel the same way! I am about half Irish and half Italian.

Nice to meet you too! I'm curious, how did you end up loving Ireland that much? Do you perhaps have Irish heritage? Just wondering :)

Hi, I see that you were listening to Julie Fowlis . What is your favourite Julie Fowlis song & album ? Mine is the album Mar A Tha Mo Chrid (As My Heart Is) 2005 . And I have 3 songs that I love very much:1) Biodh an Deoch Seo N Mi Laimh Mo Ruin 2005 , 2) Tha Caolas Eadar Mi S Iain 2005 , 3) Ged a Sheol Mi Air Aineol 2005 . I think that her first album (2005) is the best , her third album (2009) is excellent , and her second (2007) album is very good .
